every time I try to join my friend's game I get an error code zero. we tried having one of us host it instead but he fails to connect every time we get into the game. we followed the previous instructions to use Prevado vpn but are still encountering this issue. any advice?

As of this moment error code 0 isnt a well known error, we do know that it appears for some people that try hosting lobbies and it currently has no clear solution. So whoever out of you two can host should be the one hosting.
The connection problem however is a different problem altogether and it can indeed be fixed via the use of privado vpn, i recommend one of you two join a ranom lobby and try to connect to other players there, if that works then the other person/the person who cant connect should use privado.

thanks for the response. when trying to have my friend connect to a game I host, we initially were never able to get him a connection. we did use the VPN which established a connection and let us start a game. the problem we ran into there was that he would disconnect the moment he loaded in. at this point we have tried everything we can think of including "send delay" and the other option that is available in the options menu. our last idea is to use Himachi (or a similar program) to spoof a local network and see if we can play through that.
