Why was it decided that DAO has its own space and not simply a category/tag on a server in the Discord space. In the end it's just a Discord server, nothing too special about it. For me there is no real reason to give its own space besides to show how much you want to get involved in crypto, which is perceived in a not so happy way by the community.

I recently started working on a Discord bot and hosted it on top.gg, and trying to use the top.gg widgets, I noticed the one of type Small (servers) is returning undefined. Assuming this is actually broken (maybe only works for verified bots?), and If this is is coming from the top.gg API, I would be willing to help support that. Is this something that any community member can do? P.S. top.gg is great, thanks for building it

With the new filters there are bots listed very high, with outdated server counts.

I saw pages (DBLStats, Bots for Discord App) which both use data from top.gg and got more up to date server counts from bots not updating their stats anymore.

Are you thinking of putting up a kind of "cooldown" to promote bots and servers so that if a known bot or a known server participates in auctions again, it will not be able to participate for a while, to let other smaller bots have a chance in front of them?

I saw on iara profile that she keeps building pages with her presentation, her projects, etc. and I think a good option is to implement something like this on top.gg, what do you think? (p.s. I work on marketing in Romania, so this is why I ask alot about promote systems and customization systems)

You can do something in parallel, like category for "vote and popularity" and one for "bumped"

also unfortunately bumping is incredibly easy to automate and there are basically no ways to stop it since you're bound to discord's platform for verifying user identities

pretty much everyone i know who uses botlists that allow bumping has bumping automated by bots lol

I know Disboard recently switched to App commands and requires it to be a user and not a bot, while that still allows for self-botters to bot it, not many people know how and from what I've seen there aren't really many detailed guides how to do it

Absolutely nothing! Autocode bots are still welcome on Top.gg. However, now that Autocode has a bot list they fall under the "promotion of competitors" rule, which means bot developers cannot mention Autocode or bot.gg anywhere on their bot page, the same way we treat Botghost bots. We still welcome them, but we just had to update the way we deal with them to stay consistent with our preexisting rules.
