To be notified when someone votes for your server, you need to set up your own webhook to deal with that. There are bots on our website that do that, (search vote tracker or something similar) or you can ask for help in #topgg-api

i tried with 2 other where one was a bit on the nsfw side, so i figured it might have been the issue. I went ahead trying to upload another server, had the same issue, came for support i was told its bc im not the owner. Now i am the owner and its the same problem.

Hey i have a question so i have my 'verified' bot and i try to post it on top.gg so that more users can come to know about it, but even after numerous attempts my bot disappears from my profile, i don't know why this is happening. Obvious reason would be that my bot is getting declined but i am having a hard time to know the reason why. I've mentioned all the details about the bot and its features, yet it keeps disappearing from my profile. May I know the reason as to why this keeps happening? I would like an autogenerated server invite for the server listings on top.gg, but the bot picks a seemingly random channel to invite from. Why's that and is there any way to specify a channel to set the invite for? I'd just like it to be general or rules page or something. Not the end of the world though.

You can give access to create invite for the bot only in the channel u want it to create the invite

By default only a select couple channels are able to have invites generated. However, this caused an issue with the top.gg bot and I was given this error any time I tried to generate it. The only work around I found to this outside of individually changing all those channel's permissions was to give top.gg administrator privileges.

I was actually gonna ask why this was happening in here before I found the admin permission work around.

If you have any suggestions for what may be causing this I'd be happy to listen.

Also to specify, top.gg bot does have the create invite permission while this error occurs. If anyone has any ideas please feel free to ping me.
