For bot's that are declined, add a option for staff to hide there id's;
For example here: #mod-logs message
If it can be used to crash there bot, it shouldnt show the id, as that can be used to invite it.

Hi! In order for a bot to be approved, is it a hard requirement for it to respond to any user that tries to invoke a command? A bot I help manage was rejected because it didn't respond to a command, which is expected, purposeful behavior unless the bot is configured to allow specific roles to execute that command

Yes, it's absolutely a reasonable assumptions you'll be able to send message and view channels. I do recall you can also react to messages and use external emojis and such. The Verification Center is reasonably open enough.

It's good practice anyway, like, server owners might invite your bot in the same way and you'd get similar perms - send messages, view channels, but not manage server or kick/ban for example.

Wish there was a way to become "Verified Bot Developer" which gives you priority over all these other bots; this role is given for those experienced developers with bots with little to no bugs or errors? would be kinda nice

Those bots are just as much a priority as anyone else's tbh. Being known doesn't mean your bots are more important or have priority.

I agree although at least you can then skip the queue for those people who troll and upload bots that are either offline, nonfunctional or copied etc etc

Can you check the position of a bot pending bot? Since I recently created a bot and discord finds it too suspicious because it's hit the 250 server cap within a day, at least then I can remove the bot from a few servers so when it comes to review time, you can invite the bot so I don't end up having to wait another 2 weeks to get verified
