Hello. I’m having trouble submitting a new bot because the submit button isn’t working. When I inspect the page and click the button, it sends a request to "ampltd.top.gg" with an overwhelming amount of fingerprinting data, and Cloudflare responds with a 521 error (Web Server is down).

Nobody here seems to have complained since then but I still find it odd. So I tested with several freshly reinstalled browsers, even with a VPN (in case my IP was blocked, you never know). In fact I think people haven't complained because you require verification by phone to complain on your Discord and don't reply to support emails. My email was sent on Monday, it's the end of the week and the problem persists. On Twitter, the account is inactive. On the other hand, for advertising bids it's more active

I do just want to mention that ampltd being down doesn't stop your bot being submitted.

ampltd is the Amplitude Analytics (https://amplitude.com/) instance that is not working at the moment. It is collecting analytics (albeit too much) and has no impact on submitting your bot. You'll see that it also submits analytics along the submission process as well. Note: the submit request is actually /entities, on the top.gg root domain - not ampltd.

as much as i can be nitpicky about Top.gg, this is nothing to do with advertising or not favouring support etc, it seems more like a misunderstanding - not a conspiracy to make money or anything

have you lost full access to the bot? Meaning that you no longer have access to a working token of the bot (that'll be needed to verify ownership)

if the bot is deleted from discord's end I can remove the bot otherwise you'll have to prove ownership which requires you still have access to a token so you can make the bot send me a DM or change it's status

Hello.. first timer here, so apologies if I'm in the wrong place. Please guide me to the proper venue if I am. I'm an end user, working with a Flavi bot on my discord server. It will not allow me to use certain functions without voting, which is normal, but when I vote, it does not register and allow the functionality. I submitted screenshots on the Flavi support server, and his end shows I haven't voted in nearly a month. I only have 1 Discord account, and the bot does remember content created on a different server, so it knows who I am, but my votes are not registering.
Flavi support said this was a "top.gg moment", and shared a link that brought me here.
Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?

Im sorry in advance to make you run in circles here but in 9/10 cases these types of errors is on the bot owner. Might even call it a "flavi moment". If the site says your vote went thru successfully all should be good from our end

You need to click on the "Discord Support Server" button on the bot's page of the bot you need support for. If there isn't a button that says "Discord Support Server" or nothing else mentioned about a support server, the server invite is invalid or you were banned from the bot's support server, then we can't help you. Sorry :(

What if a bot gets approved by top.gg, and later on, its functionality is extended to the point where administrator permissions are required?
Do I need to resubmit the bot, or can I just modify the permissions on the Discord developer dashboard?

Administrator permission for the bot is never needed and might get your bot taken down if reported. When you do change your bot you do not have to resubmit it

When will my bot be reviewed?

Currently our average bot reviewal time is a few days or more.

Because of this — and because some bots take longer to review than others due to their features — we can't guarantee your bot will be reviewed as quickly as someone else's in the past and we also can't guarantee your bot will be reviewed within that timeframe. There is no exact time for how long bot approval can take. There is no way to check your bot's position in our reviewal queue, but remember you're not first and you're not last!

You may edit your bot's page as much as you like both before and after it's reviewed and this will have no impact on its place in queue.

You can read more about our bot reviewal process in this support article: How the Bot Reviewal Process Works.

In the meantime, please make sure your bot follows all of our Bot Guidelines for a quick and smooth approval!
