Make sure the bot follows the guidelines set by discord & top.gg for a much easier approval process. After that its just making sure your commands function and respond, and your bot is online

Patience is key, though as of late the queue has been pretty low so your wait time isn't long either :) Keep in mind if your bot is denied 4 times for the same reason, you can suffer a ban (correct me if im wrong xiuh or whoever)

Editing the permissions of a channel does not require MANAGE_CHANNELS it requires MANAGE_ROLES

So the user & bot needs that permission.

I know that some creations are protected by default under the French law, maybe names, but I don't really know legal stuffs, especially when different countries are involved. I could ask to a lawyer, but Disblock is only a small project, so I prefer avoiding all of that things. I'm just sad that people reuse my name for their own projects without asking, and that it's possible to reuse the name everywhere, despite my project existing.

Leaving reviews helps others see how good the bot is

Hi, is there a reason why I suddenly cannot invite bots or log into Top.gg or Discord Bots? It consistently says I need to authorize my account, which I don't know how much more authorized it can be, and when I try to log into Top.gg or reset my password, this is all it says.

By the way, I've emailed Discord for help and they've been talking in circles and telling me to keep uninstalling and reinstalling and I'm getting a bit frustrated lmao.

Bots are added without any permissions and then they are given permissions that the bot will inform that it needs iirc

I added the bot with no permissions to a test server, and that command worked because it doesn't require any special permissions aside "send message".

I added the bot with no permissions including send message (but send message is typically granted to everyone by default, so it worked)

I'm confused, say I specifically deny the send message permission, but if that permission is missing, how can the bot inform about that, since the bot can't send messages

Technically a bot can always return an (ephemeral) response to a slash command interaction. However, we do grant your bot the send messages permission
