Hiya higher ups. Got a suggestion. When submitting a bot, require users to add code to the bot that sends a ping to topgg weekly or such. This can allow for automatic removal of bots that are offline for extended periods of time (leniency is ~3 weeks). This also prevents mass submissions of clones, and will allow mostly only authentic bots on topgg. Lmk what you think

Background info: Our verified bot is on a development team where the team owners account has been deleted and only 1 of us in our organization is the admin on that team- discord doesn't let you claim ownership, and discord support won't help in changing ownership.

So an idea is to create a new bot or use an old retired bot and transfer it to a team that we have ownership of. The question is though; could we have our bot page on top.gg changed to the new bot? we have like 40 reviews on our bot page that we don't want to lose. we'd already be having our server count of 2,300+ reset to 0 and attempt to get all the servers add new bot and go through verification again.. but is it possible for top.gg to do this?

No, but I figured it would sort itself out when the new month began. It did not.
I've noticed that this has been a problem for quite a while when browsing the tags, but it varies from tag to tag.
Some tags seem "about right" while some are completely out of sync, displaying 1 vote bots over the thousands.
Haven't had a problem with the server tags, but I really don't browse them so I can't say for sure.

The 1 vote bots over ones with thousands is probably due to the monthly reset. Servers don't really face these issues as often since we don't by default search by votes for them anyway.

Over the month the search ordering should improve a bit, the site just seems to have trouble for the first week after the reset.

Honestly, the issue here probably wont be fixed for awhile.

The bot stats have also been updated in settings on topgg, and the bot's pfp as viewed specifically from the team that owns the bot has the new picture.
