Honestly I find the current design very good. It's super readable and just enough color to make it not feel generic. The only thing I would change is the header size. When you land on the front page, half the screen is taken up by the header (search+logo) and thats on a 4k screen. It should be tightened to at most 1/3rd and that would be perfect

Here are my thoughts on the auction ads:
Option A seems the most user friendly. This COULD be the most fair option with the following logic. You would accept the top 2 ads just like before, but now the ads would get displayed proportionally to the size of their bid. For example if first place is $55 and second place is $45 for a tag, the first ad would get randomly displayed 55% of the time, while the second ad would displayed 45% of the time (same for any subsequent pages). This would also allow for more than 2 ads to bid for the tag if needed.
An advantage of a system like this is that it would have an impact of how big the first bid is compared to the second one, which would make it better than other choices if implemented like this. I think a system like this would be much more fair than C, while cluttering pages less. One of the big drawbacks of C is that if a highly rated server bids for a tag and gets the second place their ad would be placed below their server, which doesn't make much sense. B is not the best because it displays 2 ads before the top voted server and those ads might not be related to the tag, displaying 1 ad before the rest of the servers seems like the most intuitive answer.
