which I might just remove since we have something over there already
but overall seems neat
lots to fix though
it added a dope spiral also
Lol. Nice.
took me about 2 hours to figure out how to add this in
turns out its not too hard
I figure we've sunk enough materials with me sitting in game for hours and hours afk
to make up for the materials to build all this
Yea, I mean it'd mostly be super time consuming actually placing everything.
Yeah, once you make blueprints its easier
but this has had like 50 iterations across multiple versions apparently
like they updated it from 0.8 to 1 since there was node and map changes
but they took out some cool features from older versions I might add in myself
like snaking train lines down all the caves
which is just neat to ride trhough
let's see if I can fix the hub area and connect the storage area and then I'm calling it a night lol
I feel like if you're wanting "passenger paths" through the cave systems, hypertubes are probably better. Easier to fit in tight spaces without clipping.
Couldn't directly connect to the train lines, but you could just put them at the stations. Also wouldn't have to fight as much with train pathing and preventing collisions.
yeah, but it's not as neat as riding a train 😄
I kind of think it's neater. I can ride trains in real life. I can't use Futurama's transit system though.
I've seen people add both
h
hmm
the train station is ABOVE my coal plant lol
it clips into my new building for your quartz outpost
lol, sweet
they made a weird battery hanging over the giant hole in the grasslands
ok this was worth the hours of work haha
next project will be to fix the train station over the coal area and maybe use it instead of mine that's there.. and then connect the new steel area I was working on to the lines
Looks cool.
this is the map currently
there's train stations in all the popular areas that people build
which is pretty much near nodes
I love that my giant fuel generator platform is so big on the map haha
Truly becoming industrialized.
Can you still make stuff with the materials?
Could be that while the event has ended, if you have the production equipment you can still use it.
yup
the trees are supposed to stop producing at one point
maybe on the next update
That's what they said happens on the dev Q&A
We can now ship nitrogen to anywhere easily 🙂
Nice. And fair. Though maybe they changed their mind about it ending. Not really much point in taking it away since it makes the trees useless that you need to just toss, but I guess they want to keep it "seasonal".
they turned off at a certain point the previous year, so I dunno
we have a full storage container of everything and like a ton of snow balls
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Fair. Just seems kind of pointless to take away the means of production, lol.
Lol. Must be the slug breeding ground.

and it went from like 6 to 0
That's amazing.
I didnt play all weekend, tomorrow I have a factory to finish for phase 4
gotta see if I can line up more interviews also
People are nuts
Inspired by the works of Doodlechaos, Nuropsych1 and some stuff on wallpaper engine, I've always wanted to create an absolutely insane music sync in Satisfactory, Not only is this the second to be made in Satisfactory, I hope this will rival the best of all music syncs/Visualizers on Youtube.
I am so incredibly proud of this after so close givi...
It's tons of display panels and you ride a conveyer lol
After building the rocket fuel setup I think I could convert my regular fuel gen platform into rocket fuel burners, I don't know how much effort that would be and I'd have to do a new area for rubber and plastic...
I'd have to use the tool to see how much effort it would be, but rocket fuel would make a shit ton more power than the regular fuel since I think it could cover more generators
I was thinking of trying to go straight for rocket fuel before, but I just didn't mentally understand it
I wonder how much power I could end up with. I wonder how much sulfur I'll need...
With the oil available and enough sulfur, I think I could hit over 125000
Which is what, like 5x more power
I mean, is there a need for that much power?
on final phase, if you overclock + boost with the cool S rock. one particle accelerator can suck up like 40k power

i didnt play for like 2 months and already forgot what that cool S rock name is
yeah, super later game stuff is very demanding
I mean, there's like teleporters and stuff
sheesh
phase 4 is a lot
trains and belts bring in everything else
I had to find a place that had as much as I could
close together
heh
The factory grows ever larger, lol.
I kept seeing stuff being built at the "blue crater" so I made a ammo and fuel area which has a train stop right next door...
I copied a tower layout I saw on reddit and.. It looks really ominous in the distance..
Time to build an eye on top or something lol
Lol. My first thought is a skyscraper mid construction. Then I have flashbacks to the time I climbed one in 7 Days and now I don't want to go anywhere near it.
\o/
fully stocked
now you can see "saturn"
we're up to 60k also
this is without aldi's nuclear
which I think I might try to clean up next
we pulled stuff in from all over the place
found this neat cave for sam
That's cool looking.
Fluid dynamics in this game are so wild, people have started packaging liquids and using conveyers and lifts over pipes
You have to add packagers and unpackagers to a build, but it's more consistent
yea its easier to use packager
more alternatives for transport as well
rather than figuring out which part dont have enough lift
I've no longer have fluid issues
But packaging makes sense
There's still a ton of weirdness with pipes and the mechanics, but I can at least keep things running.
Like aluminum producing it's own water, people generally just pipe it back into the refinery, but then you have to balance the intake and it's best to use a valve
But you can valve to reduce flow and use a n shape pipe to force it to fill that as an overflow
And it kind of takes care of itself
Like my aluminum currently has a pipe that just goes up and doubles back along the water pipe manifold
But packagers are more machines and more space and that's what changes things and spacing
rail ways are tricky, geez
they get like.. out of sync sometimes
and can crash the server
if you force a rail car to go someplace out of sync, it can crash or get confused
That's a pain.
lol
can finally upgrade some stuff with the "complicated thing"
@acoustic cloud the trees finally stopped producing
Ugh, I need to add another layer to this phase 4 area
to try to make some of this new stuff..
The factory must always grow.
pretty sure I'm going to complete this elevator thing and then it's going to take off and leave me on the planet

Seems like a good way to turn common resources into rarer ones.
