Articulated buses

We need articulated buses to improve some lines capacity, as a tram can be overkill when a standard bus line is not enough.
That would allow us to make BRT / High capacity bus lines.

at minimum double decker buses if nothing else but articulated ones would be optimal

since only uk planners seem to be delusional enough to use doubledecker buses for local transit at large scale

they have the slight problem of longer dwell times

which is not great in large urban areas with a lot of stops

cuz they're gonna be stuck at the stop for twice as long as an articulated bus

so it doesnt rly save stop space

but I'd take even them over not having any higher capacity bus tbf

I've been to the UK a few times and I think passengers who are traveling for short trips tend to stay on the lower floor.

still less doors per seat than other buses

and also less standing room since the stairs take space

and I highly doubt people are standing on the stairs of a bus
