yeah dont be afraid of the grid
the buildings you zone or plop are usually more important than the road network
unless you decide to zone massive public housing complexes with 16 meter roads then i think you should upgrade those or change up the roads
but taking inspiration from real life is always a good idea and you'll see grids are everywhere in cities built after the industrial revolution
Yeah i go to google earth almost everytime i open the game so i take my time sometimes just looking around and taking notes

Well i bought snowfall dlc so i expect to add trams from now on to connect more districts with public transport

I will delete half of the city and redevelop the central area to look more european. Because to me it looked too much square
