they could have like a city policy so residents get a discount or smthn or make it so SOME peopel may avoid it if its too expensive if they can. maybe reduce happiness but bring in money and different fares for different vehicles . I dont think this would be too difficult to add in another update

just FYI, cims and companies to pay a toll for every road segment they travel through and drivers may choose alternative routes, if the fastest/most direct is too expensive to travel on for their preference

I mean literally actually toll booths would be enough, although e.g. depending on where u exit on the highway you pay a different fare would be nice

i reckon its based on the construction/upkeep costs in general

so since a 2 lane road has half the construction costs of a 4 lane road, the fee they have to pay for the 4 lane road is twice as much as for the 2 lane road
