Big Great Lakes feeling.
love the autumn with this
looks really nice how did you get the lighting to look so good?
is that just from the picture mode?
Actually, I agree with the other guy now, this looks incredibly Philly.
beautiful
Very nice map
I seriously thought some of the screenshots were Google Earth. Even for CS2 that's impressive!
Thanks 😄
Too much what?
The number of metro
Proper northern-central US feel to this. Gives me Illinois-Michigan-Ohio vibes. Love it.
Or Philly yes. Rust-belt north-eastern-midwestern. Definitely.
No, it’s pretty good.
🥰
Thanks 👍
A little critique, subway lines here in the U.S. usually aren’t grade level. Often they’re underground or elevated. Sometimes sunken too.
Actually, the subway was inspired by Japan a bit...sry 😢
did you use the britain low density for these low density houses?
I am curious, what city is your main inspiration? We've all been saying Philadelphia and Great Lakes, but I remember you also had a New York based one too.
The city center is based on Philadelphia! The outskirts are modeled after several cities in the eastern United States, but New York City is the most heavily influenced.
Finally, representation.
Used in low-density housing in Britain and the western United States.
I'm not sure if the translation is correct 😅
Oh, you said translation, not transition.
My bad
You're English is apparently much better then mine.
lol
But that's interesting! Thanks
Not necessarily subways, but third-rail powered lines are never at grade with a road or pedestrian crossing. The few subway lines that have overhead power sometimes run in mixed traffic, even if some call them streetcars.
Yeah, that’s what I meant. I always think of MTA or something whenever I hear subway, but I forgot about Philly’s Surface-Subway system.
One of my bigger issues with cs2 is how much effort is required to make a unique subway/metro system. Without many mods you can’t make underground tram stops and for whatever reason subway tracks have terrible mechanics
What’s the map?
Corral Riches
LIRR has some major at grade portions with third rail
does the third rail actually cross the road
it doesnt how would vehicles cross
well im not familiar with cs2
i wouldnt consider buying it until it has a good amount of paradox mod custom assets
or has a steam workshop
I am in live with ur map. Do u use lumina or sth. Ulr colors are amazing realsitic
I legit thought this is Real Life 💀
Do you use lumina? And also is your level of detail high low or medium or very low
this is what i aim to build it looks great
Guess all of them are car oriented cities(?) 🤔
Not really. I mean this person’s built a huge subway system in their city.
Sorry I haven't been able to reply because I've been busy.😅 Yes! I am using Lumina, and the LOD is probably maxed out.
That's right, there are about 15 subway lines. lol
There are a lot of unnecessary routes.. 😅
I made it because I wanted to see a lot of trains running.
What are your photo/lumina settings? This is stunning
This city is fire 🔥
i am also begging for this
cant get my city to look better than a saturated mess lol
that airport interchange is crazy
joining in on asking for this
Whats this asset
thats peak, i want to learn to build like you
This reminds me of Jamaica station on lirr
@fringe steppe
opinions on this
it used to have a complete loop around
i'm deciding on what to do next
holy schmoley
all is well and good but i feel like this could be a cloverleaf or just more efficient generally, if possible
of course i'm not that good at such things but its what i think
also you could smoothen this out
maybe make some terraformed islands here and make it cool there?
A stack is more efficient than a clover but a clover would be better here realistically because of lower costs and the ramps could be very large with the space
Yeah I thought about that, maybe il settle smaller cities on the other side
Yeah Its going to be extremly busy in the future
Ima keep building at that side, theres alredy an airport and I want a cargo port terminal and big industrial
I really like the New Jersey-Bew York Area
Yep ill do
Is because that im going to be expanding more to that side in the future
Mostly
But a cloverleaf would look sick
Hell yeah
fill some empty space far away from downtown with suburban neighborhoods or gated communities with a slight curved road in it
just a tip, i am not saying you should do it
yup
Just letting you know. Most rail systems do a hub spoke network
