What’s with everybody’s hatred of grids? They’re literally on every continent, and promote ease of navigation for citizens. And bus lanes, bike lanes or trolley tracks can be easily adapted into the networks.

they end up being filled with unnecessarily wide highways even through some streets leading to boulevards can be blocked so theres less traffic. it's the stupid urban planners/architects' fault.
