That might’ve been the case back in CS1 times, but not so much these days.

This definitely isn't happening.

However what I'd like to see is some of the "essential" mods being integrated into the base game, that way the features of those could make it to console players.

I'm talking about things such as "Find it", "Plop the growables", "Move it", "Recolor" and "Anarchy".

I agree that it’s not happening, but I think we can chalk it up to CO/Paradox just not wanting to deal with the supporting a large number of plebs who might break the game/their saves. I don’t think it’s as simple as “console limitations” (this also impacts GFN, which incidentally supports code mods for CS1–but not CS2).

I do like that idea as a compromise, though! Seeing the official line tool gives me some hope of other tools. 🤞
