My game keeps downloading the same 6GB mod over and over again and won’t let me access the mod menu | Cities: Skylines | Page 1

It’s been doing this for 3 hours at this point, it’s the UK region pack, I downloaded it straight from the Paradox mod menu (I did download it from the site beforehand)

Facing issues while downloading large mods?

First make sure you have enough storage in your OS drive (C:\). Make sure it's atleast 10GB + 3x the mod size.
For example, if you are downloading a 5GB mod, you should have 25GB free space in your C:\ drive. Also, make sure the space is after your full size page file is generated.

If the problem persist, we're not sure what the problem is thus we can't give you a solution, but we can give you an workaroud temporarily so you can start playing.

Go to PDX Mods web
Login to your account
Then go to the Region Pack or mod's page.
Then remove the packs/mods from any playsets you're subscribed to.
And then download it from that page.
You'll get a zip file. Unzip the zip inside %LocalAppData%Low\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\~StreamingData. Create the ~StreamingData folder if it doesn't exist.
Inside ~StreamingData data you should now have a folder named XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX_X. You can rename the folder to the mod's name and version if you want.
-# You will not get any automatic update by following this method. In case there's an update to the mod, you'll need to redownload manually, remove the old version and install the new version.
-# You can't disable/see the mod using Skyve anymore by following this method. In case you want to disable the mod, you need to rename the folder to add a . in front of the folder name and it won't load anymore until you remove the . from the folder name.
