The citizens have elected Denver Hodges as the mayor of their small community. They have also decided to name the place Hereford. Hereford now has a population of 120.

Many city dwellers loved the idea of moving to the countryside. Many have begun leaving the city and becoming a part of Hereford. They want a more quiet, less taxes life. Many farmers are upset because they wanted to escape these city folk. Luckily, Mayor Hodges has found a solution. Hoping to stay a farm town, Mayor Hodges as not allowed many businesses to open, and has funded more farms, growing the number from 2 to 7.
Due to the immense population boom, the community of Hereford can proudly have the title of small town, with a population of 516

Many of the old city-dwellers are unfamiliar with farming equipment safety. Due to lack of safety skills, there has been an increase in injuries throughout town. Mayor Hodges had decided, and after raising enough funds, has opened up the Hereford Medical Clinic.

With an increase of jobs, even more farmers have moved from across the state, growing Hereford into a town of 871. Despite the population boom, unemployment is at an all time low of 0.7%.
MERTON COUNTY NEWS REPORT Mayor Denver Hodges has been in a terrible farming accident. Without proper medical equipment, the Hereford Medical Clinic is currently rushing him to the nearest city. Citizens speculate whether he'll make it in time.
In this chaos, self-appointed reserve mayoress Erica Keaton has stepped up to lead the town through this troubling event.

MERTON COUNTY NEWS REPORT On his way to the hospital, Mayor Denver Hodges died. May Hereford take a moment to remember the great achievements he accomplished.
Despite recent events, the town has elected Erica Keaton as full time mayoress. Majority of the votes came from ex-city dwellers, and Erica was not the choice for the farmers. This may be an end to the farmers hopes of a quiet life.
Mayoress Erica Heaton's first act is expanding the population. She has added a new neighborhood called Wilson Row. This has brought a swarm of people in, and an increase of unemployment.
Mayoress Heaton has swiftly expanded the industrial district, hoping to fulfil her towns needs and bring in even more people.

Hereford has now grown to a population over 2,500. Because of this, Mayoress Keaton has had an elementary, fire station, and police station built to fulfill Hereford's needs.

Hereford has grown so big that the farmers are threatening to leave, leaving Hereford without anyone to man the farms, a major economic provider. In response, Mayoress Keaton has announced plans for a new city, across the lake. Infrastructure is expected to be laid soon as to accommodate the growing population. Hereford now has a population of over 5,500.

With a total population of 8.5k, Merton County has expanded it's school district. Here are pictures of the new Hereford Elementary additions, Riverdale Elementary, and Merton County High.

All school capacity has quickly filled up, just like the parking spots located behind businesses along Riverwalk Street.
Riverdale now has a population of 5.2k, bringing the total population of Merton County up to 11.5k

Merton County High has expanded. Planning for a new high school in Hereford is underway. The size is still in the air as residents are still slowly moving into open homes

Funding for a new high school has been cut as both Riverdale and Hereford elementary are overflowing. Both have expanded their walls, but it has hardly made a dent in the rising problem

As the need for Riverwalk Street to expand has increased, so has the need for parking. Introducing, the new parking structure located behind the south end of Riverwalk Street. At capacity, this area can hold 786 cars, fulfilling the parking needs Riverside Needs. It is expected to quickly fill up.

Mayoress Keaton has expanded the farming district, adding 500+ jobs and bringing the unemployment rate down to 17.7%. She also plans on expanding Riverwalk Street in the near future to fight the demand for shops and residencies.

Riverdale has grown into a small city of 16k, housing 2 elementaries, high school, 2 medical clinics, police station, and a fire department.

Merton County has quickly grown to a population of 24k, and has needed new jobs. It has expanded into the oil industry.
The new oil industry is providing 300 people with jobs and 36 tons of oil for the city.

MERTON COUNTY BREAKING NEWS A bus in Riverdale lost control and crashed into nearby cars. Riverdale Police, Fire, and Hospital have arrived on scene
Across the river in Holly Springs, traffic has backed up across all of Summit highway due to a rapid increase of residents moving into new high rises. This has drastically decreased the number of jobs, causing Holly Springs Commerce District to grow again.
