City hall has now been built!
great job
Thank you. I am planning on detailing the rail yard soon; I will post and update tomorrow.
Here is an update of the city!
good job with that city. Overall I think that the city looks beautiful. Fun fact my main city right now is on the same map. . . Calabash
Cool, I would love to see it!
I have a post in cs gallery named Calabash
Start of a new area!
So far it has a train connection and busses on its main two streets.
New custom markings and college in Northwood
great job on the city. what mod do you have to download to get those yellow markings or any markings like it?
I use netlanes, I think they are from the ExtraDetailingTools by Triton Supreme.
Here is a small update on the city; I will have a big update on the weekend.
thank you and good job on the city
For some reason my train is full and isnt leaving the station
Fixed my train station; I also hit 190 hours on Cities: Skylines 2.
@rapid walrus map?
Its called Volchoria
My New City(not named yet) Volchoria custom map
Sorry for the hiatus. I will post an update tonight or Saturday.
Any name suggestions for the city? I feel like it is time it gets a proper name.
New detailed area as well as some general expansions! The population is now at 35k! Once again I am sorry for the delay.
My City(not named yet) Volchoria custom map
great job
Thank you
This is my city on the same map
Been working on it for 2 months now and not even close to finishing
I love the terrain with all the trees and mountains and islands
but I had to modify it a bit in order to be able to let the city sprawl more
Nice, I really like the lighting you got. It is really cool to see how other people build on the same map. Do you have a post in the gallery I could follow?
New park + developments!
Just hit 40,000 Population!
Hit 200 hours on Cities: Skylines 2!
Yes it is indeed great to see what other people do with the same map
I just created a post here on this server
nice, I have reached 225.9 hours on City Skylines
New Developments across the water + first cargo in the city! This new development has a small downtown with one big office building. The name of this new development is 'Northbay'. The main source of employment is office and warehouses alongside the jobs provided by the port.
Hit 45k pop!
great job
Thank you, I am sorry to hear that you lost the save to your city.
New grid, I will zone it soon.
looks beautiful
Just hit 50,000 population!
I believe the best part of City Skylines 2 is the photo mode
I agree, it think it is one of the better parts of the game if used well.
New small town built up around the new passenger port! The small town comes with amazing views of downtown. The city also just hit 55,000 population!
looks beautiful
I wonder what will happen to your, my, and others modded cities after the Economy 2.0 update. I am anticipated but because a lot of cities are modden now this might cause many to just not be unusable.
Yeah, I am a bit worried but I have already gotten rid of any mods that mess with the simulation.
Just built a new cargo station!
nice new cargo train area, but I haven't deleated my mods
Sorry for the short break. Here is a new low density residential district: 'Midway Residential'. This new district is located between the entrance to Northbay, a highway, and the midway nature preserve.
I really like how smooth the streets go along the coast line and the terrain in in general
That's something I'm also currently trying to achieve
Thank you, I really appreciate that.
New residential development near regional airport!
Closing in on 60,000 population, I am currently at 57k!
Aren't the planes gonna crash right into the mountain tho if they takeoff in that direction?
Maybe not in Cities Skylines, but I think irl this would never work
I think they dont end up hitting it, but then again planes in cities skylines 2 can fly with an absurd aoa.
I might rebuild it later to fix that.
Sorry for the short break. Here are some pictures of a new grid I am currently planning! The area is west of the downtown rail complex. Here is some photos of my economy just to note them before economy 2.0! Hopefully my city won't self destruct because of the mods I am using.
Some mods such as the traffic mod and legacy flavor are not working due to the new update. Hopefully the mod creators are able to fix this soon but until then the city will be on pause.
I finally got all my mods to show up! I will post an update soon.
Hillside Acres Volchoria custom map ~ 60,000 population
Hillside Acres | Volchoria Custom Map | ~ 70,000 population
New mountain pass area. This area is nestled between two big mountains and it has a great view of Northbay! Mountain pass is also home to the regional auto center. Close to the center of mountain pass lays the huge signature golfers villa. Next to the rail that passes by is the tourist attraction water park.
I have finally hit green in the new economy 2.0!
Hillside Acres | Volchoria Custom Map | ~ 80,000 population
For some reason my population has been exploding after the economy update. This has caused my unemployment to go through the roof. My unemployment is currently around 26%. To help mitigate this I have been rezoning and building new office and commercial.
Some nice photos I got of my city:
good job
my city I am working on is going bankrupt because of the update
I am too used to the old money system
I am now bankrupt
Yeah, even after going positive I still somewhat randomly go into the negative.
good job but I never got positive
Yeah, it took me a couple hours to do it. Does this mean you are ending your current city?
yes but because of the mods not because of the economy
I replaced one of the entrance roundabouts with one of the new ones added in this new update. I used better bulldozer to remove some trees/bushes. I really like the look of it.
nice but how did you get the water tower there
I put the roundabout down at the beginning of my city and used anarchy to place a water tower on it. When this new update came out I used anarchy and replaced the roundabout.
I really like the lights on it
I think it looks cool
thanks
Just hit the thriving metropolis milestone in my city!
Just built an industrial waste facility to help with the sub-par trash collection the city has. The high employee count will also hopefully chip away at high unemployment.

nice
one thing I find interesting in City Skylines 2 is when people make instead of just a single city more of like a US county map
so I am making one
Nice, i look forward to it
Here is a photo of my road network
Some nice photos
nice i have already posted it called "Crystal Isles (county)"
I really like that tbh
Feel like you gotten better at taking angel and shots overall! Looking more fuller/
Thank you I have been working on it a lot. I really appreciate that.
something about the county maps though is that You only can do so much before they become too tiny for more towns\minicities. And for the matter you need to pick a good map because You need a lot of space
I would agree except if you are willing to let the cities grow and incorporate into each other. If you dont want them to mix then space becomes and issue.
yeah. my city I'm building right now has a bunch of cities near the main city but they get farther away. I also picked a bad but good looking map. Lots of hills
I am running into the same problem with my city currently, due to all the hills and water it is difficult to expand further. I think a cool way to fix this issue would be for the possibility for a 'mega-map' / region. They could be any size and could be made up of a couple or more normal map sizes. You could have trade with the other cities you have made and take greater advantage over a wider variety of resources. A game that implements a large map like this is Theo Town.
I stopped playing theo town but yeah the map size or maps in general can be mostly hard to work with because of the water.
The mega map idea isn't bad but I don't think paradox or CO have any plan to do that.
Yeah, it might cause more performance issues but if they do implement it they could use a statistics based simulation rather than a sim based simulation for the other cities you are not in/ currently working on.
also I changed my name back to what it was originally.
yeah
I have a high gen computer but I don't want to hear only my fan go BUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Yeah
I think I should upgrade my pc soon
I think i might upgrade to a ryzen 7 5700X3D because I dont want to have to get an am5 chip + ddr5 plus a new motherboard/
ah
I should probably also get 16 gigs more ram
nice
the creator of 529 tiles is working on expannding the map to 8k tiles LOl.. he making progress but still ways to go...
Now the issue is If our hardware can handle such fiesta.. The game havent been optimized yet, is why no matter what highend chip we have, the simul/fps will be slow as snails in megalopolis city thats over 400k+ popu.
I think optimizations will need to go a long way before he is able to release that and be stable.
tru
I am looking forward to it
Amazing views from my city
that's true
nice. I bet that many computers won't be able to run that
nice
The new University funded green-space has just been built! It includes a quiet area with benches for people to relax. It also includes a lower area with no public access. This lower area has a tower for research to be done on forests and other natural phenomenon.
nice university land
Thank you, I appreciate it!

nice job
I like how this city you are building is going
I have posted Callisstorn and hopefully I can keep that one going. Also question, are you doing this on inf. money?
also WHY DID PARADOX MAKE THE MONEY YOU GAIN FROM MILESTONES INCREADABLY LOW
I am looking forward to seeing your new city. Also I am not on inf. money, though I do have tile upkeep off due to using 'unlock all tiles' on 529 tiles mod.
ah
Early winter morning in the city.
Thank you, I appreciate it.
is it a good Idea to put a underground road network so people could get to the other side of the city without going through heavy traffic and traffic lights?
I think it would be very expensive. You could do a single highway underneath a high traffic area such as downtown. I think a decent implementation of this in real life is state route 99 tunnel underneath downtown Seattle.
ah never knew that
I added it into my city Calllistorn
I just noticed that your last pictures were in winter.
Yeah, a while back a turned off legacy flavor and the seasons slowly changed.
Yeah, i never figured out how to use that part of the mod.
it is SHIFT + W to disable\enable it or you could do the slow part by entering the tab of legacy flavor
Thanks
the progress of this city is beautiful
Thank you, I am greatly sorry for the delay on these most recent photos.
hey mate I have stopped posting as I find it funner to just enjoy the game without posting
