There are some very rare circumstances where you can get this to work, but yeah, this would be huge. Sole a lot of issues
I think a tool called "node merging" will helpful on this kind of build
I want that too
My one intersection where i managed to get it to work. You have to be less than the minimum parallel road distance for it to work. The second photo is a recreation to make sure i could duplicate it, with traffic lights.
How'd you get them so far apart π
I'll put tutorial in here soon when I'm at my pc again
Ok, I'll start the tutorial here.
step 1: place the road you want to create Dual carriageway Intersection (you can use any road you want)
step 2: disable all snapping tools and select straight road tool (or you can use curve tool if you want some advanced)
step 3: place the secondary road like this
step 4: disable all snapping tool and select replace tool
step 5: select any side of the road and drag them from apart
finished. you just create Dual carriageway Intersection in vanilla CS2
btw if you delete main road, you can create U-turn area from this method
hi, I finished the tutorial here
I hope this tutorial can help you
I don't have CS2 so I have no idea how it works but from what I've seen in the trailer and dev diaries I never saw any such intersection.π
That looks π π€©
Yo I didn't even thing of the upgrading to move the road trick. You're the best Thanks!!
np
but will any car be able to use that U-turn?
since it's still count as connected node, yes. Cars can use that U-turn
oh okay sounds safe π would be cool to have those turn areas for blue light vehicles as we call them in europe.
there is a better way where you can add to an existing dual carriageway
which is what I do
I'll explain tomorrow
You mean the Days after tomorrow ππ
WHERE EXPLAIN?\
Tomorrow never comes
There was something like this in the trailer
It's this, #1197595015799656598 message , just need some adjustments to make it look like in the trailer one.
There's tutorial up there, scroll up a bit
