Grrr why does China have the tallest buildings, America sure needs to get their head out of their shoes
not neccesarily its just that china has governement controlled skyscrapers and in the us its all capitalism, hence why the tallest buildings are sticks in central park. also why in china they are usually cooler
I don’t mind a few sticks but I want more taller and thicker skyscrapers
I heard they’re building another cool one rn
270 park ave I think
It’s roof height is still taller then one World Trade Center
It’s not enough and the process is to slow
I also think they banned in China from making skyscrapers taller then 300 meters? or is it 400
Idk
I’m just hoping the USA has another skyscraper boom or something, like the roaring 20s
Yea I read that somewhere as well
The height restrictions were implemented for like safety reasons I think
Like in case of a fire or earthquake or something
Kinda sad there won't be anymore skyscrapers being built
China has so much potential for skyscrapers
nah they have to many of the tallest skyscrapers globally
like top 20 or something
usa doesn't have that many in that list
600m
That's still pretty tall
Hong Kong
We have tall buildings also lmao, because we dont spend all our electricity bill on tall ass buildings with crazy ass lighting
And there is literally 0 point
Yeah your right
But the one World Trade Center which is the tallest skyscraper in the USA looks so small compared to chinas skyscrapers as well as from the Middle East
The antenna is the one that’s making it one of the most tallest, it wouldn’t even be in the top 20s if it wasn’t for the antenna
millionaires are the ones spending the money on the electricity bill of the building not you
we are just workers
I think if you count the antenna then it would only count as a structure, not a building
Well the one World Trade Center is 1776 feet but the antenna is helping it get to that height, without it, it would only be 1368 feet, which is quite small
In fact it would be the 36th tallest building in the world, now that’s quite lame
If you look at the worlds tallest buildings, it’s like 50% China
And like 10% USA
Why tf would we need tall buildings
literally nobody gives afðŸ˜
Also factoring in China has like 1.4 billion people, so they will have more big cities than the US, meaning more sky scrapers.
And how tall a building is, is really not the US #1 priority. The US has way better things to be focusing on than tall buildings. There is literally no need and no point to build taller buildings right now.
Yeah I guess your right
But apparently china’s population is slowly decreasing while the USA is slowly increasing
Like very slow
Yeah the US is increasing slowly but steadly and China's is plumiting, thats why India just became more populous than China. And India is growing extremely fast.
And alot of the US population growth is from illegal immigrants, and with the 2024 election that could change drastically.
We could be seeing millions of people leaving if this election goes wrong
If it goes right lol
Wait huh
Why did this suddenly become political lol
Lol
