This is a major problem even in cs1 and is still there in cs2. Garbage trucks just randomly pickup garbage while ignoring buildings with high garbage pileup. please make the Garbage trucks to focus on high garbage pileup buildings also

Is this confirmed still happening? I read in the patch notes they fixed a bug where the garbage truck thought it had more garbage on it's route than it actually does. Causing it to turn back prematurely.

You need to spread your garbage service out more. By the time a truck was supposed to get to the problematic buildings, the trash it picked up along the way caused it to be full. This also means that just because all of a garbage building sends out vehicles doesn't mean they're reaching their ultimate destination in time. Build a recycling center or two to keep air pollution low so that coverage can reach the super high garbage areas. Garbage has been addressed and fixed; it's just a matter of better planning how you cover your city's garbage.

I agree, OP try to spread out your garbage services across the map as much as you can to get better coverage
