use the pavement roads by cylis

u can stretch them with Node Controller if u need a wider one

if u are still lacking roads by then u may make them with Road Builder (u can select if a road is supposed to have a curb or not when creating one)

For a YT thumbnail the placement is not optimal. The title should be in the middle of the picture so no overlay from YT covers it. I have that with many YTubers that the time or the "add to later" blocks a part of the thumbnail that would be important. Writing the Episode Number on the Thumbnail is also good.
About the font id use something that is easily readable even at letter size 5

U Always have to remember that the mobile thumbnail is smaller than the PC one

Wow the build looks awesome. BC it’s a modern city I would go for a simple, white, modern font. Personally, I like mangal pro (but that’s very specific) so whatever you think works best. Keep it up mate and if you want an eg let me know 🤌

do you have any tips? im not building a tokyo themed city but everything you build just seems to slot in perfectly, from the highways to the traintracks to the buildings

tips? I would say it comes with visualization. Since im doing a 1:1 build with a 1:1 map, im able to visualize where the roads and networks need to go based on the formation of the map and i follow the waterways to guide me on how and where I build my networks. Then i slowly go more inland, thats why you see me doing the coastal areas first. Its hard to give tips other than "practice more" because honestly thats all it is, after doing this for 5 years 1:1 (started with LA) and playing since 2015, you get better at understanding where and how the buildings and roads should be placed. Try filling in every space that you can. Every empty space on my map i always fill in with trees or props or anything else. Try and find an medium or large patch of grass inside a built area of mine, you cant because i always try to fill it in. And if it is, its area thats undeveloped. It also depends on your theme of build whether it is european, north american, asian etc. Each city has its distinct city planning style. Reference a real city and go from there :)

thats not a problem, even at a smaller scale try and fill in as much as possible and try to reference cities to how you want it!

took me three iterations and redoing of LA before i actually got one to where i was satisfied

that took over 3 years

literally the more you do it and the more detail you try and add in, the more realistic and the more time you put into it, the better you get. Then it gets to a point where you need to redo the whole city because your standard of "good" has increased and your city isnt at that standard

U don't need the snowfall DLC. There are themes that have snow that work without the DLC and then there are snow props which you can PO (might need the non conforming props mod for it) :)
