#EPISODE 5

Except for the Lancers who pilot Vertibirds
Marketing that's why, t60 was practically invented for that, so was vault boy
Sounds like the halo show 😇😭
well ig then its like why not just have Pilots only wear it. Since i’d argue wearing thick clothing underneath PA is prob unconfortable
Don’t say that it was terrible
I’m sorry but you need to hear the truth
hes gettin PTSD
He's right, we're pretty lucky as fallout fans for this show
It's not perfect no way but it's far better than other game adaptations
Why have two separate uniforms for power armor and pilots, when one jumpsuit works for both?
I wish BOS had cooler armor for non PA. The fo76 Armor one is sick
i dont remember if anyone in fo4 wore combat armor like 1+2
Recon Armor Glow up
ye but tbh fo4 combat armor is kinda boring imo
That thing is beautiful, though 3s design ain't bad
Im glad nobody actually wears it in the show very often
It’s standard pre-war combat armor. Not everything has to be super fancy and groundbreaking
I got the secret service armor with the jetpack in 76 and quickly realized it was a deathtrap without pa lmao 🤣
I like alot of the classic and 3s designs the most in the series besides the robots and creatures, which are pretty damn good in 4
I do like 3s protectrons tho
If you want that, go check out the marine armor from far harbor
realistically nobody actually wears huge armor plates because weight brings speed down especially a rifle and 200 pounds on your back. So rlly i think style kinda does matter for a video game
I loaded into my old 4 save the other day and Codsworth looks like something out of Mad Max 😂
that is true its there but base game wise combat armor is kinda the staple of fallout games imo for armor tiers
Unless the armor is made from a composite or material we don’t have right now, as fallout is science fiction 50 years ahead of our time.
the only reason i can see why it was nessecary is cause the armor plating would block energy weapons but we clearly see the chinese stick to cheaper AK platforms
Well that and a boy and his dog were inspirations for classic fallout so you're doing gods work
i liked that combat armor was more like a lot of Sci-fi armor in movies like Alien or starship troopers
Fallout 3 just suffers from all armor being skinny.
The classic designs were peak
like heres classic combat armor from official bethesda in fo4
it looks just more simple and very nice
Anything that someone gives you from a quest you should be able to loot off their corpse
Why didn't they just go with that it's so much better
the helmet i added in its just the generic soldier one but i like it
Idk why you think less detail it better. No straps. No pouches, and the plates still seem as thick as the standard fallout 4, but are just big solid pieces instead of being broken up.
I really don't like 4s design so pretty much anything looks better imo
the plating also doesnt look bulky it feels more appropriately proportioned for even both male and female
God the knee pads are so ugly. Just one solid slab of metal is awful.
and again it doesnt look too heavy for someone to wear that could cause immobility
i mean it just looks fine
Idk. If fallout 4 is too busy/bulky. than fallout 3 is the polar opposite where they went with the bare minimum
i liked that Classic armor was more like Alien or Starshiproopers which was mostly a helmet, chestpiece and ammo pouches
Hot take but I don't like this in RPGs.
Especially when there's an actual timer like in Fallout 1.
same
Like let me do my goddamn sidequests in peace.
Fallout 2 dosent have a timer
There was supposed to be a timer regarding the mutant invasion too
They're was but it got updated
Apparently everyone dies in necropolis if you dont enter it fast enough still
Within 100 days or smth
The visions in f2 are lies you can take as long as you need to
Very true. And I love how people are like, "Yeah so many people have the show."
You mean the minority? The 5% the vast majority of people enjoy it. They pleased majority of the fan base. And he's not wrong, either most of the people complaining are people who don't know the lore, barely played the games, or actively choose to be ignorant about why or how things happen in terms of lore.
Someone here said the show won't get a s3 bc it was bad
💀
They already begin pre-production for season fucking 3 God people are so dumb...
I have some issues with the story but the set design is gorgeous and the cgi is great
Having gripes is fine. But people who claim they're retcons, or lore disruptions, etc etc. It's like the people complaining about pre-war deathclaws. Despite pre-war deathclaws being a thing that's existed for a long time.
Like I'll ask - what specific gripes do you have , if you don't mind answering??
some "fans" (you know who i mean) have genuinely deluded themselves into thinking the show is reviled globally
oh and i don't mean just on this server
Oh trust me, I know. It's unhinged. Lmao if the show was objectively bad. It wouldn't be the most profitable Amazon show they've made. It wouldn't be outpacing the fucking Witcher in ratings. It wouldn't be actively and consistently Amazon's number 1 show through its entire seasonal run.
To be fair outpacing Witcher in the ratings is not a high bar to clear.
The Witcher show is exactly what the fans feared the Fallout show would be.
The show doing so well they're making a fallout shelter spin off reality show
It is one of the most popular shows currently the likelihood of it getting cancelled is about the same as us getting TES6 next month
So needless to say Fallout is not going away anytime soon.
Bethesda's most successful game series by far right now
Nah but the Witcher had everything it needed and the spin-off they tried with it bombed horribly? Vs Fallout that doesn't seem to be the case? Every alternative media extension from the show has been well received. Like heck, I know people in here who played Fallout Shelter and enjoy the extension and new content because of the show.
I think it's important that the general show-watching public is recieving the show well.
A lot of people watching it are just regular TV watchers who haven't played the games.
And from their perspective there isn't really anything wrong with the show.
People complaining about the NCR disappearing and the Brotherhood being dumbed down are hardcore fans.
People that complain about tourists are funny
Because they're isn't anything wrong with the show
Tourists are annoying but it's inevitable when your franchise gets exanded into a new medium.
If anything there not being tourists would be a very bad sign.
fallout 4 and 76 probably just got a big uptick in new players
If the only people watching your show or movie are hardcore franchise fans and it doesn't attract the new audience you've majorly screwed up.
I'm aware, but that goes for a lot of adaptations, and tie-ins. It's not exclusive to Fallout.
The people complaining are hard-core fans that don't actively understand though? Like realistically the show has actively gone at lengths to tell you that the NCR isn't gone. The show also tells you several times that Quintus's Brotherhood exclusively are super religious and undisciplined.
See also: the FNAF movies.
I very much dislike how durable ghouls are, and they are making it very obvious. Immortality, radiation healing and immunity to sickness just wasn’t enough I guess.
sometimes its not that they don't actively understand, sometimes its just out of pure spite and pettiness, the show didn't show the NCR or their favourite faction, or the courier, or fucking easy pete i guess, shitting all over people blasting heads left and right being a badass
Easy pete is likley dead
Hur hur hur
To be fair the depiction of NCR is a pretty big flaw with the show.
Most of the issues relate to how the factions are portrayed.
I dont like the anti feral drug thing
The Brotherhood being dumb undisciplined jocks, the NCR disappearing, the Legion fighting for 20 years over 3 meters of land etc.
You're right, I was being too charitable. I forget people hate-watch.
The games themselves said these factions whould crash and burn
Definitely
Yeah that too. A mix of different chems and social interaction to keep from going feral? Cool.
A single miracle drug? Nah
But someone who's not faimilar with the games wouldn't notice any of those issues.
Why can't someone invent a new chem?
Again - these are not issues. This all is actively explained through lore.
Just because something is explained through lore doesn't make it good.
I'm not saying these are plot holes.
So the entire game of nv saying these things whould nv
yea i myself was guilty of it few years back
It's explained in Fallout New Vegas's story and narrative so I ask again. Why weren't people bitching then?
You can. But it should come from a place that has that power.
The first we see of this drug is from two bums in an abandoned joint with a broken robot.
You don't need alot of power to make drugs
Like no one complained about this stuff when it was actively in FNV's discussions or plots. But when Bethesda chooses to follow the plot line obsidian setup, it's now bad? It doesn't make sense.
Because those factions were portrayed differently in NV?
A drug that stops you from turning into an animal? Yeah that’s not something you should be able to just do without an actual team and a lab, and resources
The Brotherhood was in decline but they weren't a bunch of imbeciles.
The Legion was powerful and threatening.
The NCR had a major presence.
That's not how making drugs works

If the show was set in a new previously unexplored region and featured brand new factions no one would complain.
That is absolutely how drugs work. You don’t just mix things and hope they work. That’s how you die
Brotherhood Chapters operate differently.
You're told dozens if not numerous times the Legion will crumble with Caesar's death.
The NCR was struggling with it's presence due to Kimball, and was explained that none of them wanted to be in the Mojave in the first place.
The Shady Sands bombing just sped up their progress to being evicted out of the Mojave.
I mean there's a difference between crumbling and fighting over 3 meters of land for 20 years.
Who says they that did
Flase
That's what crumbling and fractured means. That is the subtext, what did you think it meant???
That's what Joshua pretty much tells you. That the legion becomes a joke without Caesar.
They didn’t say ANYTHING that’s the damn problem. There’s no explanation. No lead up. Nothing. He just gets the drug, it works and he moves on. It’s lazy writing.
Fighting over 3 meters of land is evidence that they've crumbled beyond repair.
I don't have a problem with the Legion splitting into different factions.
I have a problem with the camps of these factions being 3 meters apart and somehow not destroying each other over the course of 20 years.
Like you can throw a grenade from one camp to another.
They only attack when you get close to the note
Somehow the legion has the brains and manpower to box in the NCR all the way over near Primm. But can’t be bothered to build camps more than 5ft away.
It's almost like the Legion is stupid without Caesar, which is literally what you are told througout FNV. The Legion cannot maintain themselves in a operating manner. The dialogue also said they were more focused on keeping people from finding out the successor. The active battle only started when the ghoul initiated it.
Yes it's dumb, but the Legion is stupid without Caesar.
They're fighting over the note Caesar has the show explains us this
Caesar's literal issue is he didn't pass down his teachings, no one in the legion has his intelligence, and it's not something he chose to pass down, and he didn't create an heir. He is, for all intensive purposes, and IDIOT.
And im pretty sure on the stupid note, the moron wrote, "I am Caesar"
I think we are diverting from episode 5 discussion xd
That whole note thing is silly. Unless they built that dirt wall before he died, and he went up there. Why did no one grab the note when they put the body there?
No one put the body there
So Caesar just died in that spot, and they immediately dug around him.
Its even more dumb to think someone moved him
No someone had to have put them there. I think what likely happened is someone put him there, and was going to reach for the note then a stalemate happened.
Even then, again, the whole situation is stupid, but it's on par for the Legion - because they are that stupid without Caesar.
Anyone who hasn’t played Vegas wouldn’t know this, so it just looks stupid overall to the viewer.
So then is the argument that it's stupid for a normal viewer to see the Legion in this state compared to how they're portrayed in FNV?
Do you think the show has no flaws
I do think the show has flaws, but none of what you guys have provided is a flaw. lol
The argument is the viewer wouldn’t know the legion is stupid unless they played NV.
So seeing them be stupid in the show with no knowledge just comes off as a writing issue.
I would agree with this if Caesar was alive. But their entire intelligence hinges on their leader, chalk it up to Obsidian writing them that way if you want but I don't believe that's the show's issue for following what Obsidian wrote and staying consistent. I think having Caesar be alive specifically for the show, 15 years after FNV when the dude is nearly on his death-bed with cancer would be bad writing. But that's a whole other issue involving the Courier.
We don’t know this as the viewer. The show just assumes we all know of their incompetence.
I would argue the show is not assuming their competence. It's quite literally showing you what the faction is. A bunch of idiots fighting over a successor on a measly 3 foot no man's land. A cult. It doesn't need to show them at the height of their power to get that point across.
The Anthony House theory was that it was the dude in the bathroom?
I thought it was more that the body double was anthony, why would the "real" House be Anthony ?
No people were saying because Robert House brought up H&H in the first episode, they thought he was Anthony House - but the timelines wouldn't match, I don't think.
I have the same theory, but I thought that was a clue that the "real" House is Anthony
and the body double goes "its a live in"
idk maybe I am wrong, but my theory was always that Anthony was Rafi, I dind't realize I had that flipped compared to most
From my understanding at least, people were saying Justin Theroux was Anthony, and Rafi was the real House.
Because Justin Theroux knew so much about H&H.
And Rafi was more in the public face, on tv, radio, etc etc.
but why tf would the richest man in America but himself out there as a target publicly lol
Wouldn’t the real house know just as much about H&H as his brother as it was intended for him, and he buys him out later?
I mean no, I don't disagree with you - this was my thought process when I heard it. lol
yea
Yes, exactly. That's what made the theory/idea confusing.
I just don't really get how that even makes sense
People were assuming Anthony knows more, cause Anthony stole it but the Company was intended for both, so Robert would know equally as much. H&H - House & House.
Like the REAL House being a secret makes sense for sercurity, what is the benefit of Robert being in public
Watching men pee in bathrooms
Aura farming
IF I believe the Anthony theory, this would've made more sense, yeah. But I am an avid denier, unfortunately. lol
But Robert I believe would operate on this anyway given he's based off of Howard Hughes - who used body doubles IRL. So I imagine if the Anthony theory was correct, Robert using Anthony as the double or meatshield out of revenge might make sense.
I’m still confused on it all, and if that was intended by the show writers than damn very well done.
It was intentional, that stuff is usually planned ahead of time? They probably signed NDAs. And not many people knew cause they wanted the reveal to happen, and their idea worked. We didn't shut up about it for like 3 episodes.
actually that makes sense
my big issue with theory is that why tf would Robert want his brother as the body double in case something happened, but as revenge makes perfect sense
Don’t Anthony despise his brother? Why on earth would he agree to do anything for him, much less be a body double.
I do wonder if there isn't a synth component here somewhere. I doubt Rafi could be a synth, but House technically went to CIT. This was never explored in Fo4, but I could see the TV Show doing something there if any of those other synth/Institute theories end up being true
Snyths are post war
yea I know
well Anthony would have to stop being a person sort of if he is a body double so
it would be a cover
They BOTH hate each other, and this is my issue with the body double theory. Is that, Robert would have to beat Anthony into submission and use some sort of tech on him to get him to cooperate. Anthony is super schizophrenic, and mentally unwell, and views Robert & China as the source of his delusions and issues.
I don’t see how this benefits Anthony at all.
tbh I thought this aspect actually works quite well because it almost sounds like a BS story
"ah yea anthony just went crazy and disappeared in his factory"
Why whouldnt Anthony kill house
There is but it's 13 years in-game or something, which basically nobody is going to run out
Institute was founded 33 years after 2077
2110 its founded
although it does seem like a soft founding
Personally I think Moldaver is going to send someone else to assassinate House and that's how the double dies
It would work well, if Anthony wasn't paranoid, I mean at least they would have to go through lengths to explain how Anthony got over his paranoia to meet Robert, or encounter him cause in lore at least, Anthony had like the most insane, and unhinged security measures to identify people. So to go this route, I feel like they'd have to explain how two paranoid people who hate each other, one whose schizophrenic, managed to get into the room with the persona they believe is the source of their delusions.
It's not IMPOSSIBLE, but it requires so much work idk if they'd go that route. Especially now with like, 3 episodes left. lol
likely Charlie and that's how Cooper gets investigated by HUAC and labeled a pinko
I think they would just use the paranoia as the explanation. Like it was all faked as a cover, but idk
In reality they likely just wouldn't explain that lol
If they went that route, probably not - it's too much to explain, I feel.
I'm still of the belief it's just a body double lol
yea honestly we could not get any further explanation from this point forward
Not with 3 episodes left, at least not this season.
They still have to explain how House is alive, assuming the Courier just never killed him.
Imagine the smell of ghouls
Like rotting corpses. Funnily enough Lucy hasn't complained about the Ghoul's smell which also makes me think he's a unique one. Like Eddie, Hancock, and the Players for 76.
"Who ends the world?!"
a shadowy figure appears
I also wonder what exactly Hank (Enclave) plan is
He wants Lucy back in the Vault safely. I wonder if its a whole cleanse the area plan with Cold Fusion + House nukes. Remember how Shady Sands had the nuke delivered? Maybe the Enclave can't launch nukes..yet
reckon after the flea soup, ghoul must smell like daisies by comparison
Quick throw him in the bathtub!
LMAO
I just mean that - I think what Bethesda is doing is attempting to create Ghoul variations like Mutants. But it might be too early to tell. We have to see how we become a playable Ghoul in the next fallout I think.
He seems like he wants to get something from house, I don't think he has any enclave connection
is the bartender that served Coop in the last ep from another notable show? streamers i watch seem to recognize him
|| That doesn't make sense if Robert House literally sold Hank the technology though. Unless there's another plot reveal. ||
||House sold Hank the technology?|| I don't remember that coming up in any of the episodes
In the trailer for episode 6.
I'll spoiler it. lol
Hmm
Yeah that's why I'm less convinced that House has anything to do with the tech itself. || He got rid of it. ||
I wonder where they're going with it in that case, given that Hank seems to be trying to do something on house's behalf right now
I'm not sold it's on House's behalf. Genuinely. Like I said unless they reveal a new plot point or something. || Evidence so far is showcasing that House wanted nothing to do with it anymore, but there might be more to that specific deal. But in the trailer you see Hank is deeply interested in it, Barb is not. So it looks like Hank bought it on Vault tec's behalf, perhaps without Barb knowing. ||
I doubt it's officially on house's behalf, it seems like Hank hasn't actually made contact yet
But he seems to think it'll give him some bargaining power with house
I just don't see why House would work with them, when he actively looks down on them and calls them idiots. lol
Idk, I just don't buy into House and Hank being in league anymore given what they showcased this episode. I could be wrong, but they'd have to show why the sudden shift.
Yeah I mean it definitely seemed like Hank was pretty antagonistic towards him when he sent his message, it could just be his style of corpobabble which has me thinking that they have some form of cooperation
The real vault tec would have done something horrific with that concept
Not the toaster!
Vault tec but Squid Games.
Given how eddie and hancock transformed do we count them as ghouls both took some kinda drug
They are still ghouls, but that's sort of what I mean. I think Bethesda is intentionally building up a difference between those who become ghouls naturally vs those who use drugs, or other means outside of natural radiation exposure. If that makes sense?
Fine but still unsure thaddeus is one
no, i don't believe Thaddeus is.
Anthony being either of the house actors would be so needlessly convoluted that even if it was true I’d hate it on principle
I like the idea there are just plain old mutants who arnt ghouls or FEV.
Same.
Anthony was also older
It also completely shits on the lore, which nothing has done up to now
I wish there was more natural mutants. Like idk if you remember the failed FEV design concepts, but more mutants those.
No the shows been good with preserving lore
Anthony HATES Robert. Even before Robert started getting his revenge. There’s no way he’d ever be not paranoid house was screwing him
The cast of total recall comes to mind.
Agreed.
Also likely 60s-70s due to the age difference implied by the inheritance cheating
Anthony was also in the public, so people would've noticed him.
Its theories like that that make me reconsider if many people have even interacted with the actual lore
Not to mention anthony had the same staff for a long time who would have noticed
House was systematically destroying his life, why would he ever pretend to be him to help him out
There was a person earlier who said the show was bad and messy cause reddit said so.
And then another one who said the show is bad, and there's no way it gets another season.
Despite you know, pre-production already beginning - and filming dates already set.
I mean basically anthony screwed a 2 year old over because he never shared the same mom
Without question, yeah. I imagine 4 will be the finale, leading up to FO5's release.
So which sounds more plausible buds buds find fev or they have already been infected
Either could work i think it would be tragic for norm to see claudia transform
They’d be showing signs imeidately , it’s been a few weeks since they got out I’d think
At least a week. And Thaddeus started noticing changes within a few hours
This, FEV works fast without a controlled enviornment.
There is different strains also thaddeus had to get shot in the neck to realise
How long did the huntersville variant take
It was heavily diluted in the water. It would be pretty obvious if it was a high percentage
It’s green and glows. It took a few days for people to start changing at all
They could have been drugged via water like the villagers
That doesn’t really make sense, they’re the control variables
It’s the actual vault dwellers that would be being infected
From February to August.
The buds bud short does elude to transformation
Slowish
You want human trials to take a while anyway, but especially when your working with the literal genesis of deathclaws that turns animals into buff deformed mutated blobs
The overall concentration was probably less than 0.5 percent.
Yeah it wasn't super fast - but signs showed immediately the difference is that the evolution process was slow. So symptoms began, evolution didn't occur immediately.
They allready knew it would deform people and cause massive growth. They just didn’t care.
I don’t think they even actually became proper super mutants
Curious what westek hoped to achieve with that facility, were they trying to train the mutants
No, i don't think they cared at that point, it was in 2076 i believe.
The notes left behind by residents seem to imply people started turning green. But we don’t know how far along they turned or if they actually succeeded in turning, we know from 3 that that strain failed a lot
And it seems like if people aren’t directly dipped and kept in they can fail to turn
Yeah this is what i mean is that symptoms started the show, but evolving from human to mutant wasn't immediate. The symptoms were immediate, the process took it's time.
Some of the tapes mention following commands before the mutants lash out was this a test bed for the super soldiers
Water caused mutation but probably not completely into the mutants we see now.
If it’s not at a really high concentration it doesn’t seem to take as easily
We know they had vats of fev which is how the mutants create more, but that seems like it wasn’t where they started, only once they found out what it was able to do to humans
I wonder if west tek got any supermutants who did obey orders
76 mentions that being rendered inert before the staff left
No but there was that one scientist that mutated himself into a behemoth. I think he used WestTek's technology, i can't remember.
There must be more becuase we know they’re making more even with how dumb they are
The water is still poisioned
Other than the one scientist in 4 there’s no smart mutants in Boston . And only one in 76 who we kill and was unstable before anyway
Smart super mutants only come from non iradiated humans , which means vault dwellers. No one in Boston was safe except us the player and we are op so don’t get caught and turned. And no one in the institute would be using institute people
Bardwell decided to head out to make contact with the U.S. Army in Huntersville, but that was six days ago, and he hasn't come back.
He told us if everything went south, to dump the neutralizing agent into the FEV tanks. Spielman and I followed orders and made sure that job was done. Before we abandoned West Tek, we confirmed that the liquid in the tanks was neutralized... still highly toxic, but at least the FEV was gone.
Well, that's it for us. I'm going to stick with Spielman for a while, and hopefully we can make it somewhere safe... wherever that might be.
Yeah it's especially so because the Institute wasn't interested in Mutant intelligence.
They kidnapped people from the wasteland and used em as test rats then put the violent mutants on the surface to kill others. So yeah XD
Yeah, just FEV research as a means of stabilizing their bio-synths.
They knew fev was a dead end for decades.
Except for shock tactics
Synths use it somehow in the process but it’s not really the same thing as what the fev project was. It just happen3d to be viable in cloning
Funny enough isn’t the cit a supermutant den
It was used strictly to mimic human DNA i believe.
Yeah, but lots of places are , they get teleported up
Claudia is gonna open that roach farm isn't she, to cause a ruckus and save Norm
It could be coincidence it might not be
Yeah, her and Norm are getting away for sure.
would be satisfying to see the kiss-ass, Ronnie? get his ass eaten by radroaches
Maybe but i would prefer he mutated painfully
The scene looked like everyone was getting attacked but we'll have to see.
Roaches are kinda pitiful ingame so it’s funny to see them be a threat
Roach food
Also norm activing some dormant robots might be a nice use of his skills since he is not a fighter
everyone thinking hes gonna turn into a super mutant but i think hes just gonna end up a pile of flesh goop on the floor lol
he got that INT build
He is pretty jacked but 😂
He is more a hacker than a fighter
Defo not a fighter but you gotta admit he is still jacked lol
What song would you open a dogmeat montage too
Hells bells
Nothing but a hound dog by Elvis. Because we didn’t get an Elvis song for the kings
If the king is not dead i would like dogmeat to show up again in rexs old place
A cheeky nod
Dog meat ain’t very loyal. He’s run off at every fight basically
Plus she can fit under the gate
Ehh. I’m starting to wonder if they kept dog meat in the show just for the luls
They don’t do anything.
Missed opportunity to have dog meat help find Hank
Like they did with Kelllog in 4
The one thing a dog would be good at
Lucy seems more plausible since ghoul would have something of hers more likely than hanks
Could have used something he left behind from being captured by Moldaver. Idk
My bigger issue is how the ghoul will survive that injury
We know he isn't dead, prob another fusion core or smth
Yeah at this point I have no worry for the ghouls life. He just survives everything
It’s brilliant they decided to use his status as a ghoul to mask his plot armor.
But god is it frustrating
Courier has bigger plot armor
So does the chossen one
Nah he ALL set the couriers luck to 8 minimum
Chosen one got crazy plot armor tho
Just a flesh wound
Heads being chopped in half
now im wondering which protagonist has the LEAST amount of plot armor
1 prob, he's dead
Of old age
Fallout 4
Plot armor couldn't save him from old age
Chosen one surived knocking up a mobsters wife/daughter
He's mentioned in fnv
Hmm, vault dweller is probably the only mainline fallout protaganist to die of old age
Defiently the sole survivor. Dude just peaced out and has nothing. Probably got eaten by something
So he is the weakest
True and he techinally had the least plot armor
But my money is still on the sole survivor
He had military training
He had a massive advantage compare to the rest
Nora would straight up being ignored
Nah bro gotta top 3 armor
Lone wanderer is dripping with plot armor. 17yr old with no training, no knowledge.
That kid is 100% relying on plot armor and sheer luck
19
My 1 intelligence chosen one
There is NO WAY that some kid in a vault, with experience shooting a BB gun, and basics of medicine somehow beaten the entirety of the enclave and thrived in the most hostile wasteland in the series
Lone wanderer saves amata from her mad father get the boot
Although
The chosen one can be even insane because you can set his age at 16
Which makes it sounds like some teenager single handedly destoryed the entire enclave and frank horrigan at the age of 16
Actually that sound equally insane as the lone wandere
Nah it’s gotta be canon Amata gets gunned down by the Enclave after the Chad lone wanderer breaks the reactor
Yeah but he has that tribal grindset
True
He does have a certain advantage compare to the lone wanderer
Still, the idea that a 16 year old does everything in fo2 is respectfully nuts
Oh yeah a 16yr old becomes a porn star

Meanwhile the courier proved not to mess with the postal service
💀
Canonically though the Chosen One is 19 or 20 I believe.
That makes it much better lol
They put the youngst at 16 bc the game was rated as 16 most likley
Jesus
Now who is even plot armor
The lone wanderer or the damn tribe trash?
Cool it with the anti-tribal remarks
The tribal at least grew up knowing what fresh air tastes like
Tribals are just raiders in disguise
And nothing in the wasteland is worse than raiders
With that kind of rhetoric you should get a NCR role!
He should get the Legion role. No one destroys tribals quite like Lanius.
Lanius was good… but Kimball was greater
And yes, i am aware i was just bos role but i literally used to be enclave for a large part of my time
Kimball couldn’t even keep the Khans from respawning
No one can
Mate
We had 6 protagnists beating the khans and they are still alive
They just won't die
Khans never die.
Do we have any confirmed native americans in the franchise?
They exist?
Like roaches they come back
the question is which roaches are better Khans or enclave? 🧐
Khans they have drugs
Shit man that’s tough. Same amount of games. And they both got about the same screen time in the show.
Not wrong. lmfao
Khans got big iron therefore they win
There is a morbidly curious part of me that wonders what would the Khans actually try to do if they had the opportunity to be like the NCR in terms of faction power.
Khans felt the big iron
I fear for Navajo brothers given they are in the core of Legion territory
Hopi brothers as well
Are any tribes, or groups native descended
not that we know of, but i could be wrong
Sorrows have the asethetic but are descended from kids from a school
The 80s seem like they would be.
I think Zion peoples also had mixing with some Native Americans
Where Arroyo was in FO2 actually is also Native American territory IRL IIRC
But we know arroyo was mostly the vault 13 lot
Appatently the white legs and dead horses are
are they??????????
Wiki claims so
"I understand why people see it that way, but how the DLC shipped was not how it was planned. The tribes in Zion are descendants of a mix of North American native people as well as other American citizens and European (of various non-native ethnicities) tourists/campers. This survives in the language of the Dead Horses, for example, who use a large number of German-derived words.
Caeser legion
Those a romans, i want to see mongol tribe in power, let's see what happens
They will do all the same horrible things as the legion I mean
I know it was more so of a what if. 😔
It does look like the Khans bounced back though
They were
Yeah the fact the Khans are the only faction to have slightly held on to any relevance is insane to me
Khan's confirmed for fallout 5
Khan aura
Now we only need a Viper resurgence and I will be happy
The future of fallout is a three way war between the Shi, Khan, and Viper empires
can't believe you leaving the resurgent Slither Kin out of this
oh, probably, maybe we'll be surprised. probably not, i expect they will be pretty brutal.
Creepy thought but since the control chip requires a mind wipe to work right, its possible hank just used a really broken soldier for the shady bombing
kind of, but remember the solider resisted, and wasn't like the Quack Doctor.
The guy he used for Shady Sands was similar to the one he kidnapped and placed in the Vault for lucy. the only difference is the guy didn't have his head explode. He just died.
Exactly it seems the chips require low will power to work so someone shell shocked to numbness might get a partial result
Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
I wonder if the chip killed him, or the exposure of walking from the Mojave
Probably the nuclear explosion
I still to this day wonder why vault tec stocked up on office wear
they probably assume their plans would all be in motion and go off without any problems
You gotta have immaculate style when you're planning to kill the world
The difference between a madman and a prophet is the drip
Same reason some companies require suits for even non customer facing positions
ough still annoyed about this
DON'T REMIND ME.
/j
Jokes aside, im gonna be so upset if they actually pick FO4's design.
It's so bad bro, literally I'd take FO3's goofy looking overlords, over fO4's
Norm gonna become Super Mutant like for real this season
Ronnie might turn into a super mutant
Indeed
show me the beautifully ugly overlords. lol
Mustard vs pickle
Going from a Short King to a Mutant King
Don’t speak that into existence
Nothing bad is going to happen to Norm ever again, trust
TBH I doubt it since he was lying about being a "super manager"
correct, him and his soon to be wife will be safe and sound, for the rest of the series.
Exactly 😊
Chances are they'll use an original design, Gulpers, Feral Ghouls and Deathclaws all got an original design vs using one from the games
they will probably pick and choose different designs from different games. I mean we saw that already with the robots
Norm in Ep5:
That was satisfying to watch ngl. Norm is frustrating to watch.
About time he felt what above ground is really like
I don't mind Norm. Because like, he doesn't know shit.
We know far more, that's why he's acting as he is.
Buddy's gotta learn somehow.
Thaddeus annoys me far more.
He's been out there and is so naive, despite what's happened to him, it's insane.
So cringe.
And honestly, Norm probably at least can adapt faster than Lucy, if nothing else.
Idk, Lucy seems to have a tougher spine than norm.
She talks shit even while being sold
Nah Thaddeus is not the thing I have a bit of annoyance with?
You know what does annoy me, at least a
-# teeny-tiny
bit, though?
THE CONSTANT NCR TEASING MAN COME ON
eehh deathclaws are more fo4 design i will say
Yeah, they're picking and choosing different designs from all the modern fallouts, i reckon
though the protectron looks like FO3's beefy one
yeah we saw both protectrons, fo4 design in bg and fisto being fo3 version
It could be an east coast mutant
possible
Sorry guys I watched the new episode kind of late. So is the conclusion that the show is a different lore separate from the games? Like that the universe went a different direction or is it really after the events of new vegas
Fallout 3 aaaa filter
No, it's all canon. It's after the events of FNV.
No idea but its cannon
15 years exactly after the FNV story.
Why did they bomb shady sands before fnv in the show
Oh okay. So Vegas was a bustling place until all those deathclaws showed up. Which I believe they did that on purpose to protect the management vault?
There's a discrepency, the Fall of Shady sands is not the bombing as far as we know.
They changed the date on the map website thing
There's been confusion around that, and it's something we haven't gotten the cleanest answer and is the most frustrating bit, thus far.
Link or show, please?
We don't exactly know how the Deathclaws showed up, "wandering in from quarry junction" doesn't sound the best? It sounds like a half truth. I'm assuming someone lured them there, but the bombing of Shady sands would've killed Robert House's tourism - which he relied on to keep money flowing.
Couple that with the NCR pulling out of the Mojave completely after the bombing, etc etc.
It gets messy.
Keep in mind the NCR has no idea WHO bombed them, and they were probably scared, so they started sacrificing campaigns and territory to protect themselves.
The amazon website changed the date to 2291 I think but im on mobile rn
I'll take a look when I can, I'm multi-tasking rn lol but I'd have to find the dates again.
But you’re right they shouldve worded it differently like use another word instead of “fall”
yeah the whole 'fall of shady sands' being right next to the bomb going off, is what lead to a lot of confusion.
they did a piss poor job of implementing that, imho.
Yes and i remember they implied “bombs” when its just a bomb in some cart
I think they just didnt plan ahead and messed up somehow
Same way they fucked up the Prydwen and Casswenann in the show, too in S1. lol
So considering House is most likely just an AI now and the organic House is dead, I wonder how he died exactly. Either during the second battle of Hoover Dam which caused the strip collapse (still doesn’t answer enough questions) or during a separate attack on the Strip.
Wonder what direction they’ll go in, if any at all.
House said he needed Cold fusion to become an Ai, he never got it.
Did we get an answer to which ending of fnv was cannon
No, we probably won't.
I think the idea is that his backup will be turned online once they plug cold fusion into the Lucky 38. I don’t see the point in setting up an AI version of House otherwise, unless it’s a misdirect.
It's probably a misdirect, I'm not convinced his organic body is dead, tbf.
I'm convinced he's locked inside the lucky 38, maybe his network is damaged, or he's limited, but I'm not so sure his organic body is gone, yet. I think if and when he gets cold fusion again, he'll upload himself and go through with his original plans.
Maybe. I know the credit art is non-canon technically, but the state of House’s pod in that might be a hint at what’s to come. We’ll see though.
Yeah we still got 3 episodes, and more pre-war flashback scenes, too.
We're still gonna see how Coop sabotaged the deal.
Tbh unless there’s a secret army of securitrons left I wonder what House will be able to do in the next few episodes anyways. Perhaps shoot down the Brotherhood’s air forces?
yeah it is likely Vegas was taken by ncr, legion, etc after fnv, but it wasn't abandoned until the very recent deathclaw attack
He still does probably have his defense system, yeah. He's not powerless, i don't think. But we're also assuming he doesn't have more Securitrons stashed away or something. Idk, I'm reaching. I can't imagine House would be completely and utterly defenseless.
There’s the possibility of the fort securitrons still being around.
in the trailer cooper is looking at the wall (where the secret cold fusion machine thingy was) and slowly turns around to look at Mr.House on the screen
He got the chip but probably not those securitrons
and house is smiiling or laughing?
Looking smug
Yeah, im thinking this as well. But we also don't know to what extent that Cold fusion will amplify House's abilities. He's says it'll digitize him, but wtf does that mean for his capabilities. Y'know?
i am really excited to see Mr.House scene on the tv, so many are saying "oooh maybe it was the double in fnv"
but that would be so dumb
Does that make him like some Hivemind, robot network? Does that mean he can interface with other RobCo facilities he has access too? Like, I'm curious what that'll mean.
them putting the cold fusion in lucky 38 will 100% turn on this "digitzed" mr house
Yeah we know he can scan and digitize the brains of people without cold fusion, I think the issue is just powering the AI to take control of the entire network.
i agree, i just dunno what kind of abilities it'd give him. Aside from powering the Strip, Freeside, and neighboring territories to what end does his strength reach, then.
Before cold fusion House could extend his reach pretty far, albeit with the help of the courier - but still with cold fusion, it eliminates that factor, so I wonder what he'll be able to do.
hot fusion
Lukewarm fusion
I think moldaver is enclave, and she's secretly trying to get cooper to kill house because he'd be the biggest threat to the enclave
That would be lame
Just slightly too cold to get in yet but it’s slowly getting warmer fusion, the colour? Skobeloff
That's festus right
breezy fusion
Was that lady that coop helped up in front of the lucky 38 enclave or free states or something else
She was just a congresswoman attempting to raise awareness
She's against all the corpo stuff, so she's trying to stop it, a futile effort - but she's try at least.
There’s theories that she is controlled opposition but idk, I doubt it’ll be relevant either way
I mean people can be that and not even realise.
At this point, might as well be paranoid that everyone's secretly an Enclave spy or some unknowing catspaw for them.
Is it me...?! Is it YOU?! WHO ELSE?!?!

It could be you, it could be ME it could even be

My prediction
Enclave is the big bad
Enclave wins
Season ends
Season 3 is a newly rebuilt NCR and brotherhood team up against enclave
Not from acting though, I'm pretty sure.
How would the NCR be rebuilt by the time Season 3 starts?
Time skip
Or plot convince
Or maybe they don't need to rebuild because they still exist, hopefully.
But how would the NCR and Brotherhood manage to patch things up? It’s been 50-odd years since their beef started, that hatred doesn’t go away because the Enclave pops back up for round three.
But do they actually exist as the NCR, or are they quarrelling, bickering nation-states right now?
Might as well expect the Legion to make a truce with the NCR to go fight the Enclave.
Not the first time they've teamed up
It does if Maxson orders it. And I have a feeling he would due to being a pragmatist.
They teamed up at Navarro
And they also (if the player chooses) the brotherhood teams up against the legion with the NCR
But that's just one chapter.
True, it’d certainly be easier with idiots like Quintus and pals out of the picture; still would have to convince the NCR, and they very well could be under the impression the Brotherhood blew up Shady Sands.
A civil war makes you desperate
More taxes
That would ensure they never rebuild, though.
And purging the Khans from California too.
Still hoping for a boone Cameo
Khans and Fiends.
Can’t be the NCR and not purge the Khans, it’s practically a national tradition at this point.
It's usually a tradition to have somebody from Vault 13 solo them. lol
Gotta flex that K/D
I think NCR will rebuild under Max since he can't handle dealing with abominations
Honestly I'm hoping Max and Lucy team up to rebuild them.
The minutemen'ed my NCR
Honestly, there are worse fates than being Minutemen'd.
Truth
At least as Minutemen they can still help people. And they can bounce back.
Though would Lucy be better suited as the new Vault Dweller or the new Tandi?
Why not both?
Maximus would be the new Rhombus.
Or maybe Rhombus combined with Ranger Seth.
Imagine having someone with Brotherhood training as your head Ranger. Fucking unstoppable.
I think he'd be great in that role.
I think it's more like Max ideals align with the NCR more. He'll still be dealing with the bureaucracy of the NCR and their love for taxes
But he genuinely seems like someone who'd fall in love with the minutemen just because they're people trying to help
Honestly, ALL the factions except for independent Vegas have taxes.
Yeah even I have taxes 😒
And honestly, NCR’s foibles are a lot more tolerable than the Brotherhood’s.
Taxes are a necessity for anything but the most perfect society
No I mean
Powerful faction faces tragedy
A.E Quincy and shady sands
Main character(s) come by and rebuild it
Maximus is definitely more old-school (i.e. original, Roger Maxson-approved) Brotherhood. He sees the value in recovering technology but he also sees value in protecting people from actual threats.
He wants to be the hero in big bad power armor who saves the day, being a Ranger would be the best fit for him given that.
Meanwhile Quintus might as well be the synthesis of Elijah and the Enclave.
The Fallout Curse
Yeah. Elijah, Hardin, and Autumn.
Apart from the original BoS and 3, the brotherhood was never a good guy faction tbh
Quintus was right about one thing: the Brotherhood lost its way. He's just wrong about HOW it was lost.
I think the real Brotherhood are the friends we made along the way
I hate you for how well that stupid joke actually works as a powerful statement.
Wonder how maxon would think about ghouls
Maxson's BOS didn't really shoot non-ferals on sight.
Wait, which Maxson? Roger or Arthur?
OG maxon
Ah.
Yeah I think he'd be level-headed enough to know who the victims are and who the monsters are.
But he might suggest putting the victims out of their misery because... well... mercy-killing.
Not hatred though.
Hatred is for super mutants and those who created them.
Maybe 1st gen ghouls, if they asked for it
At minimum, Maxson strikes me as the kinda guy who wouldn’t have tolerated Knights playing with plasma grenades like they’re toys or sparring matches devolving into deathmatches when one combatant draws a knife.
hanks clearly the victim
NONE of the Maxson line would tolerate that.
We were talking about ghouls.
Or using power armor in sparring matches; the repairs on those can’t be cheap resource-wise.
Its how Todd describes Fallout 3
Heck, even the Enclave would’ve never let that shit slide.
Sgt. Dornan surely would never
Shit, that guy loses it if he thinks one of his soldiers has misplaced their power armor.
The Spirit of the Corps flows through that man
And now you gave me the mental image of Dornan verbally tearing those Knights new assholes with a side of blown out eardrums.
Nah, the spirit of the Corps flows through the guy in Tactics actually voiced by R. Lee Ermey. lol
Rah
You're welcome. haha
Rebellions are built on hopeium.
is our boy really dead?
No
The Ghoul will return in Avengers Doomsday
Why courier 6 isn't going to be in season 2 theories
- He died (not likely)
- He moved
- Big ol nap at Big MT
- His game crashed
They were chill tho

Yea who dislikes the talking deathclaws?
Goris my goat
People who hadn't played Fallout 2
Talking deathclaw? Next you're gonna tell me there's a city that was founded from a vault
Aa if they'd have something silly like aliens in my fallout. Ha ha ha ha
Or a city run by ghouls
But they do have a working icebox!
Now that would be crazy
An ICEBOX!??? ARE U SERIOUS 😡
The bed at The Sink do be comfy tho 👀
He's flirting with the light switches

Between OWB and the ten implants the motherfucker is half machine by now anyway
How many machines do you put in your body before your considered a cyborg?
Well, I always slot my brain back in for old times sake, but I mean… 10-12 implants and a cybernetic heart and spine? I’d say he’s clearly on the cyborg side of the scale. Like 50% maybe is the cutoff and he’s at least at that
If he fell on a broken light pole I think he’d have a fairly good chance of living
Col autumn is also really good imo
Did you post this on tik tok by any chance
Not yet
What account?
Nah I thought I did ive seen similar videos
There is no tt account 😀
Wait, what if the "NCR power armor" isn't actually NCR power armor but Maximus messing with his T-60 working with the NCR
Based on this Fallout episode, it's possible that the Enclave may have been responsible for launching the nukes.
However, in the real world discussions, conspiracy theorists often try to blame Jewish people regardless of evidence.
Others even push the idea that the Enclave itself was secretly Jewish.
What do you think about these interpretations?
No offense.
its dumb :)
the jewish stuff not the enclave dropped the bombs part. thats plausible but not the original intention
that one seems like a pipeline you don't wanna go down
when has anyone ever theorised that is the Enclave is secretly Jewish - implying that's a bad thing? 😭
what? who says that
nah there's def someone who's been theorising this
that's just smelling like thinly veiled antisemitism.
No that's what I'm saying, it's a classic pipeline
the only crazy theory about the show i know was back when S1 first came out, and this guy on YouTube was, essentially, just being blatantly racist because Barbara is black; why would a white man (Cooper) marry a black woman; how this is the showrunners trying to "w0ke-ifiy" Fallout or some other dumb shit.
…why are there people jumping to such conclusions…
that's not even a theory just straight being racist for the sake of it, why WOULDN'T cooper marry Barbara she's pretty, smart and probably drop the bombs but that's like a whole different thing
Like it's fun to theorise but let's just not be hateful about it 😨
Barbara, for many of her potential faults and currently known ones, would have me walking face first into a brick wall. there's literally nothing wrong with her skin colour 😭
those interpretations are ass 😭
It's so funny reading it because it's actually something people will believe but also that's not that hard to imagine
Hey dude, you probably shouldn’t be implying that secret government organization with crazy overreach is secretly Jewish. It promotes harmful antisemitic rhetoric if you didn’t know.
On a different note, loved this episode! It was chuck full of content I was smiling the whole time. My fallout obsession essentially reignites every ep atp lmao
Todd give us next episode now
Or playing chess
The reveal that Barb worked on the vaults personally was crazy, I think that while cooper didn’t know the full extent, after spending 200+ years in the wasteland he’s probably come to terms with it
I'm so happy to see Freeside had a lot of people walking around, I was hoping to see the kings but we don't get much of a look
Also Janey cryo pod!!! Omg
OH YEAH I FORGOT ABOUT THAT - she approved experiments and that iirc
I just wanna use some mods and unlock achievements dude 😔 pls todd i promise i wont use the game breaking ones
They had random security guards which the kings would not allow to exist if they were alive
Bro I loved that part, freeside always felt so abandoned but now it feels so alive and love the businesses all around too
Kinda sad Lucy killed a guy:(
someone hit me with the "what if Janey and Barb aren't actually in those pods" and i haven't been the same since
They have to be, for my sanity
Lucy commited [good] karma
And lost karma for stealing
Crouched in the corner levitating objects with her mind to make it extra lore accurate
I haven’t been the same since someone on twitter said “what if Janey and Barb get scared of Cooper and don’t recognize him anymore” and that lowkey made me so sad. 200+ years just to be rejected in the end would be insane
i'm wondering how they'll showcase that affecting her. it was quickly pushed aside for the whole betrayal (that shit still has me emotionally wrecked)
I definitely think he'll have to give them up in some way
She did but also she spent so long avoiding that, then shooting the guy thinking she hit a non vital area only to see that she’d killed him. It definitely contributed to the fact that she kebab-ed cooper
He’s alive thankfully and has time to feel bad about it
I feel Coop's story will end with him having to move on but also journeying with Lucy but I'm just a dumb fan idk
Nah he had no slimecake on him
that'd be really sad if so :( i hope at least he'll see Janey again. but yeah, he and Lucy will probably end up travelling together again somewhat.
I’ve seen a lot of people on social media get mad at Lucy for her choice, but honestly both of them were very reasonable. Ofc cooper wants his family back, but hank is probably planning on leveling the Mojave, she just go drugged by a guy she trusted who sold her out to her dad AND is going to send her back to the vault AND killed a guy on accident. She’s allowed to be mad at him 😭
It's like bitter sweet, like he lost a family but gained one in the process. But also I can see him settling down with his daughter
Cooper is definitely gonna have to pick between Lucy and his family
I think that Lucy is prep for Janey. She’s essentially a device to help The Ghoul become Cooper again, thus preparing him to embrace the role of father again as Cooper. As Lucy gets more jaded and becomes accustomed to the wasteland, Cooper becomes kinder (and guiltier) in reverse. A daughter for a daughter situation. Although I definitely see it coming down to a choice between a new life and the old one
I think that as we see a Lucy reject her father’s makeover in the coming episodes, and so rejecting being the perfect daughter and vault dweller, she will make a choice for a new life. So cooper will either do the same or double down
haven't seen anyone get mad at her, but i don't doubt it.
mainly been seeing people say what you've just said; she was betrayed (exchanged/a bargaining chip again for his own needs) by him, someone she thought was becoming her friend, someone she thought she could finally trust. he drugged her, planned to take her back to her vault after everything she's been through to try and stop her dad - girl has every right to be mad. cooper, while obviously extremely regretful and hurt by using her like that again - especially now that she has been probably the first person in a long time he could consider to be a trusted friend, couldn't take the risk of his family being killed. it's sad :(
Also they mentioned that getting out of cryo can kill you, and we’ve seen it happen in FO4 so the possibility of them dying while in cryo or cooper being forced to let them die in cryo might also be a thing
this is the fun thing about the show, there's actually so many possibilities it can go. I think Coop is mad at his wife for what he thinks Vault tec have done
Instagram Reel
Yeah they’re both between a rock and a hard place there
“Someone you love, or someone you hate?” Lowkey applied to both Cooper and Lucy, Lucy because of her dad and Cooper because of Barb
The thing is, I think coop ALWAYS saw Lucy as a means to an end. But they've been travelling together for so long it almost feels sentimental. Like he started to care but a little too late
The ghoul shoving the kinder parts of himself to the deepest pits of hell but losing the idgaf war to a vault dweller with daddy issues is so funny
colloquially known as the racism app 😭 makes sense now lmao
Lowkey miss Charlie, we need more prewar flashbacks with him asap
Coop is just so hellbent on finding his family that EVERTHING is a means to an end for him
[but he losing the idgaf war](#1447297848369746062 message)
he d gaf he just being stubborn
took him over 200 years. he held in there.
he d 🤤 🤤
Yup, I think that while Lucy’s dialogue towards him was played as a joke, the “will they even recognize you” actually got him a little bit. It’s the fact that everything has been reduced to “Do X so you can get Y” with him to the point that he’s essentially unrecognizable as a person
Won at anchorage only to loose 200+ years later
Drugged up Lucy was lowkey handing out pieces of coked out wisdom
LMAOOODKS
they need her to scream in rage when taking jet
She NEEDS to take psycho like rn
I HOPE they have a scene where her or coop take psycho
feel like shes not actually in there and hanks just bullshitting
they specifically didnt show us pods with shadows of people in or outright showing us they are in there, the glass is completely frozen over
the place hes in doesnt seem like a vault zero type sitch, its another research thing, and likely not even a vault because it doesnt really fit the architecture
Also lowkey I think part of Lucy’s hesitancy to go back to the vault is definitely tied to her failed marriage and the expectations there. She definitely didn’t want to become a wife, have kids and was obviously unhappy with that life. When she left the vault that’s the reality that awaited her when she returned (she obvs doesn’t know what’s been happening so in her mind everything is fine). So Cooper trying to send her back wasn’t just taking away her physical freedom, but her actual free will and identity
god talking about this just makes me wanna go feral I need more of this show
I just have a feeling his family never made it into a vault, and he's been chasing a ghost the entire time
i think they did, but its vault zero or one similar
Imagine the day of your wedding be marked by the worst carnage you’ve ever seen, with your husband turning out to be raider who also tries to kill you, your dad gets kidnapped and now you gotta go back to that same place and act like everything is good. If I was Lucy I would’ve punched him too
they introduced tactics canon into canon, now would be the time to make vault 0 canon in some way
"Vault 0? heh... that's in... the capital wasteland..." -hank probably idk
They’re abt to pull some environmental storytelling skeletons on us 😭
shes so high up shes actively involved in the vaults, theres no way her and her daughter were going to the same place as other rich people who were gonna be used as experiments
I love enviro storytelling but come on bethesda it doesn't just have to be skeletons
Sometimes it’s teddy bears
In the Capital Wasteland... Season 3 2028
I like the teddy bear scenes like yeah this teddy bear IS an alcoholic who reads the newspaper
like yes this teddy sitting on the toilet is very much a thing
they should have easter egss like that in the episodes, they might've i could've missed them
I need Janey and Barb to be alive simply because I’d just be so sad if they aren’t. Not just because Cooper loves them, but because despite our limited perspective on Janey and Barb, I’ve come to enjoy their characters a lot.
i mean even if he finds them, barb is implicated with the enclave. chances are they died years ago because they werent in cryo
They'll be alive...
In the Capital Wasteland featuring THREEDOG in Season 3 2029
and if they are, his wifes a mass murderer and his daughter wont recognise hjim
Also what's to say they aren't already deeply involved right now? Janey might be an adult and a senior officer within the enclave
We're gonna get the Shaun thing huh
Barb is so evil but like, I kinda get why’d she’d do it. If she’s enclave, then we know they put a lot of effort into ensuring loyalty, so this might be the only way she’s ever known. Not just that, but in their world it’s either you play the corporate game or you lose, and she obviously doesn’t want to lose
Is the mass murder unforgivable? Absolutely, but we know she loves Janey, and she was willing to end the world for her in her own fucked up way
If Janey is fully Enclave as well she’s fs gonna hate cooper given their whole thing
Janey is a kid unless she got unfrozen
I think she will be unfrozen and fully indoctrinated into whatever it is they decide to do
imagine she's in the khans
Plus she's a kid she'd hate Cooper regardless
Someone here said something I can't get out of my head
Cooper is going to wake up Barb and once she realizes who he his he'll shoot her in the face for being Enclave
Janny even without being brain washed whouldn't a prewar child be scared if this came up and said they were your daddy
i don't know if it has been specified yet if she actually did want to get married or have kids (i don't remember if they did 😭), but it definitely sounded like something that was pressured onto her to "ensure the future of the vault; to ensure, one day, reclamation day becomes a reality!" and conditioned too.
but you can definitely tell she's not someone who truly was thriving being locked away like that. once she came out of the vault was, and experienced the horrors and the truth, when she finally started spreading her wings.
s h u s h ☝️😌

Some darth Vader shit fr
Hope? heh... I guess we are some kind of Fallout Season 2
hence why it's probably going to be a bit of a team effort to convince Janey that is her dad 😭
Say that again
im gonna
Personally I don’t think they’ll ever fully go into it, but I think we’ll see more as she’s trapped by Hank. From the promos we can see she’s dressed up in a sundress and everything, and there’s a weird prewar room, so I think that Hank will try to convince her to go back into her previous life as a vault dweller and fail. There’s this moment in s1 during the wedding where her face falters just so, where you can tell that her heart is not fully in it that kinda tipped me off. She obviously believed in their mission very deeply, but I don’t think that the life they wanted for her was something she truly wanted yk
c
She really needed to see how shitty the world really was to in order to truly be herself
got muted because the name of this sticker is apparently a banned term but lmao why is it named that
Same with Norm I think
yeah, Norm is actually happy for the first time in his life 😭
I think Norm's story is the best one, I wanna see him learning to be manipulative
I think barb went crazy in the hopes to keep her family safe
I wanna say he becomes more dangerous and controlling
that's what it really seems to be building up to, yeah. it's already pretty obvious, but obviously the layers are going deeper than we initially thought.
We can get into a "good vault" coop
in a bad way…? you got me scared hombre
He's going to become the Overseer.
Bagahha I forgot I named it that
Literally never given my oc a name so I just call him that cus I find it funny
He just gives me villain in the making, like the more he learns, the more he becomes jaded
maybe he'll become a raider warlord who wants to eradicate all vaults idk
he could just trying to help his sister
Norm becomes the new master
Lol
Mutant in fallout 76 would be fun but like hard to do
i get the impression he probably will become happier, but his already pragmatic mindset definitely gives him a head start into the wasteland.
i can see him becoming something of a gang leader. but to what end? definitely not evil, probably more on the neutral - good spectrum.
The tunnelsnakes
Imagine s2 ending a mysterious figure will appear in the fog and yell “Lucy! We’ve got a settlement to help”
Bruh what?
Enclave is not Jewish.
There are some theories on Instagram Reel dont worry about it
Yes I’m sure the ultra nationalistic pro-American faction is secretly Jewish
I don't think barb is in the tube
Kindly never, ever, spread that shit here again.
I will not have the normalisation of anti semitic conspiracies here.
I will be more careful, sorry 🙏🏻
The dark cesspool that is Instagram reels
Well good thing I don't have an Instagram.
The Frank Horrigan stanning was bad enough.
Did macauley culkin do his role for free?
oh my god i get to talk aboiut my favorite conspiracy theory ever
The admin said not to talk about this
oh ok i wont go further than that then
Yeah...
The enclave thanks you for you service
people see cool guy and like cool guy, the 90s knew that

Whoa. Lots of warnings and mutes. Did we get spammed?
Nah just a topic mods said not to discuss.
Glad I missed it.
Anyway. 3 more days until episode 6 yeah?
Yep, looking forward to it!
We still supposedly have more pre-war flashbacks, and it looked like Barb was being confronted by Coop next episode, too.
Yeah, we kinda knew that would come after the "We need to talk." This is absolutely the beginning of the end of their marriage.
Though honestly, it was doomed the moment Barb dropped that ‘by dropping the bomb ourselves’ line.
Remember in Episode 1 of the first season, the Great War scene. "Why the hell is Cooper Howard working at kids' birthday parties?" "What else? Alimony."
Makes me wonder if losing Coop though, will cement her further into the Enclave side, though.
Yeah, we know they do separate.
My question is more if it makes Barb even more jaded.
But it's amicable enough that he's still allowed to hang out with Janey.
And Janey WANTS to be with her dad.
Still will be awkward if they reunite this season, considering Coop’s a ghoul and all.
I feel like there's going to be a twist to this divorce.
Barb even thinks of herself as a bad person, apparently, according to that one line from the next trailer.
So, this'll be interesting to see.
Plus I wanna see him and the boys rescue Lucy.
And Cooper better comment on how Maximus has gotten better at using power armor. lol
Was there a big twist in the end of Season 1 besides showing we're going to Vegas?
I mean, the vault Tec bomb, hank being a pre war nerd, and Goosey's mom being a nasty ghoul, idk
Not that I can remember.
But I love how all of us knew the Brotherhood was heading for a civil war and now it's here. lol
I was hoping Maximus would be a bigger part of it though.
Boys are back in town start to play as the ncr full force rolls up
“Pissin all by yourself handsome?”
Do you guys think Coop will die?
No
Yeah, same
But damn, I finished this episode like "wow, everything is falling apart"
"Here I can hold that for you"
I think that's why I feel so meh about E5.
It didn't really finish or build much and 4 tore so much down.
i was really hoping wed get more legion thats good to see
Maximus in a ranger power armor...oh yeah that boy will bring NCR back from the dead 🙏
Maximus has gotta get no diffed by that deathclaw 😭
It's the setup for Season 3.
Season 3 im pretty sure is on the west coast.
honestly the new legate i think should just be ceasar
He is, or rather will. He has Caesar's crown.
That’ll be his title if he takes control
also yeah maximus returning to NCR would be sick
He won’t. BUT HE SHOULD THO.
A T-60 LOST TO A BEAR 💔
||pop spoiled it and revealed he will|| spoilers
They're clearly setting up Macaulay's character to be the new Caesar
this season has been really good so far
What's with all the merch doing major spoilers
castings have been peak
i dont see enough people really talking about how well casted the show is
Even the minor characters are good
and the show is setting up fallout 5 ig
im guessing this means fallout 5 will probably be west coast again
Do we get to kill barb in fallout 5
When Maximus charges the deathclaw there is one already dead in the background
Could be the one that was getting eaten
deathclaws are tough but not invincible
If these actually do all happen next episode (which I kinda doubt but that's not the point rn)
Would that mean we have seen nothing about Episodes 7 and 8 at all?
Wait there's gonna be episode 7 and 8?
8 episode season
yeah theres 3 more episodes lol
Lol
Ooooh
Okay yeah so not all of those will happen in 1 episode then
I was just posting things that we haven't seen mb lol
Thing is
Not even critics have seen Episodes 7 or 8
is mr house face moving in the gif
The guys that got early access to the show only got up to 6
Yeah he smiles
Nobody so far knows what exactly might happen in those episodes
grrrr todd hater of new vegas ruining my lore rahhhhhh
im expecting next episode to be a maximus focused one i think
didnt the teaser show more ghoul flashbacks
People are expecting Maximus to reunite with the NCR but he’s probably just gonna find the armor abandoned in the middle of nowhere
Can be both
They barely showed him in the sneak peek.
This is all they shown for Maximus on the next episode
i think (hope) maximus character arc will revolve to him leaving BoS for good and becoming a big part of the ncr
i hate the bos so much
oh hmmm. we got a lot of maximus scenes for ep 7 and 8 then
maximus being part of the work to rebuild shady sands would be great
as the sole survivor of shady sands
Should start by filling in that crater
He isn’t
there were others?
The vault 4 dwellers, moldavers group at the observatory, and some of the people at filly
Vault 4
On the Moldave memorial/Shrine, there's people there from Shady Sands - Kimball's face is on there too.
Kimball rendered in gamebryo
Ma June mentions people that "weren't home" when Shady was exploded
I personally also think that still implies a nationwide NCR as we have known them from FO2 onwards
Stragglers, survivors from the Mojave abandonment, and the Shady Sand's survivors.
Yeah, this, there was a lot of people 'away' from Shady Sands, when it happened.
i mean the entirety of ncr wasnt just in shady sands
it seems like multiple endings of NV happened in one way or another
ncr legion and house all gaining control at one point or another
The Khans took over the rest of their territory and trapped them into the Boneyards imo
or yes man
Exactly
Plus the fact she mentioned them as "NCR folks" in the same sentence leads me to believe those aren't necesarily mutually interchangeable in the sense that
Shady is in the NCR
But not all the NCR is Shady
shady sands was just the capital iirc
didnt ncr control most if not all of california
ye but the tv show makes shady sands just the "first" capital, meaning there was a new capital when it was nuked
they were expanding east
Most yeah. They just didn’t have Baja
baja blast?
Yes
Most, but they were countered by the Shi, and Shady Sands was no longer the Capital when it got bombed.
They had a presence in Nevada and possibly lower Oregon as well
By the time the bomb had occurred, the NCR had already another Capital.
Yeah my best guess is that the individual states kinda started to govern themselves as city states after the chaos of the nuke
yes we still havent seen this but we have seen the location where it takes place (norm passes it with his group in e4)
i think it was in the trailer
You sure that wasn’t the Shady flashback
BTS footage, and we looked back at it - it was most likely rehersal or Shady sands flashback.
what about the legion BTS footage that was in the same location
they had both ncr and legion troopers next to that red building and near that bridge norm passes
The legion camp is right next to it. And in the footage, the Legion was relaxing, they weren't doing anything
legion in la would be wild
true i suppose
I'll show you, cause we had this discussion a few days ago, late at night
I'll ping you guys to it, let me go find it.
actually yeah come to think of it it wouldnt make much sense
i was hoping for another big NCR reveal
LA is Khan territory now
💪
im all in on enclave reveal
It’s possible that they just so happened to be filming NCR v legion and vault dwellers scene at the same site and same day but they weren’t ment to be the same place in the show but I doubt it
its likely all the sets are near each other
