#needing help with this weird scaling issue.

Could you explain the problem specifically? I'm don't really understand what's wrong with the footage.
i'll record a close up
so you can see here the sharp edges of my character and the ramp looks weird
this had been a problem before and after i added in camera
just try looking closely into the player asset and you'll see
if not then it must be something with my laptop graphics
I believe that has something to do with sub pixels
It's basically the game trying to draw a pixel in an inbetween so it kinda improvises
Not really, moreso a camera thing
don't really think so
removed the camera out of the room and when running i still get the same problem
or if you mean a different type of camera setting
Naw like how the scene gets rendered and stuff
You could try a smaller camera resolution?
hm
Like use a camera/view resolution that scales perfectly with the size of the sprites?
Viewport is just the scaling of the camera view
hm
update: it starts to look good
but would the problem come back if i scale the sprites down?
Well yeah if you scale the sprites down it gets drawn imperfectly since it makes the drawing thing have to draw a lot of in between pixels
so then i just have to be stuck with my sprites being huge?
like i'll see if my friend could fix the sprite
Was your viewport scaled in respect to the camera size?
before changing the camera yes
Y'okay just making sure
yea
well i'll see if i can get my friend to fix the sprite
and then after that we're good
thanks for helping tho
and thank you for the gamemaker admins for blessing us with a help forum
because if this didn't exist then my question would never be resolved 🥲
good news
i finally found a fix
i set my texture page in the graphic tab all the way down
and when testing it works out great
i could go up a bit for a better quaility
actually
it's this setting
whoops!
so uh
yea
little heads up this will smooth out a lot of things
so
