#Looping audio always creating a sharp blip at the loop point

I am using audio_play_sound(mysound,10,true) and it always never loops correctly, no matter the sound file it has a strong blip before it loops again. Any ideas on how to resolve it?

i'd suspect it to be more of a source issue. is the blip audible in an exported project?

Hmm it isn't when I play it in like windows media player, but is when I play it in gamemaker

as in the gamemaker audio importer, not via code

you can use some programs to cut the end bit where the blip is happening

Hmm so I guess what I am trying to do is create a perfect sinewave, but... it's likely impossible to perfectly cut a sinewave?

cant give you a clear answer about this one

but idk try opening your audio with something like darkaudacity

see if theres a blip at the end of the file and remove it right there
