Whatever stuff I got in mind, I'll just post here. Not sure where else to post so this'll do for now.

NOTICE: This post contains Potential Spoilers for Map Keys and Sectors outside the Core Systems that you may have not discovered. If you are still a beginner, I advise you not proceed unless spoilers don't really affect you.

New Anomalies

Magnetic Fields 🧲
Barely visible, These move in a random direction slowly throughout some sectors similar to how electrical storms behave and will slightly nudge your Vehicle around as well as any metallic debris, Maneuvering these pockets are a bit tricky based on it's intensity and game difficulty.
Electronics like Micro-Stabilizers and Data Tapes are prone will need to be damaged from Magnets, so put them in a hardcase as they provide protection.

Twisted Wavelengths ❔️
Can't think of a good name for this but the Basic idea is that from unknown origin, these waves passing this sector are Interfering with your Scanner (and potentially communication equipment) and has a tendency to create False Positives on salvage beacons as well as potentially decreasing the range (even with full upgrades). This could be a contributor to shimmer stones although it is random. You should probably double-check and make sure your antennas are tuned right!

Dust Storms ☁️
Inspired from Dustbrook, This is the aftermath of a exploding star or supernova that's went off nearby. Similar to Solar Storms with their infrequent and occasional bursts, these bursts can be from 3 minutes to even a full day (ingame). except the cab wont be cooking up.
The primary concern is limited visibility. These have a small chance of pushing small debris around the direction it's blowing and due to possible radiation, your monitors will appear to be slightly buzzed from these bursts.
-# due to the amount of dust in the sector, it will either decrease the range of your scanners or render it completely useless.

Power Fluctuations ⚡️
The twin to Electrical Storms, These will will increase/decrease the usage rate of durability your components are using up, the intensity will also change so manually check your Electronics if your monitors aren't working. This will still interfere with shock pods so beware. (this could also just be a alternative combination for electrical storms).

New Amenities

While Amenities vary among sectors, I feel this one could apply to almost ANY sector no matter the Warnings or Climate.

Fuel Shortage ⛽

Due to a shortage of Fuel, Prices for Diesel may skyrocket (between $3.50 - $5.75 a gallon). This gives you the opportunity to deliver fuel to any sectors affected by the shortage and will provide bonuses for doing so. (Tanktown is mostly excluded from this although jobs for Fuel Transport will sometimes show)

Effect Time: 12h - 3 Days. Up to 2-3 sectors can have a fuel shortage simultaneously.

Road Work 🚧

There's going to be a moderate amount of Traffic in this sector, whether it's a collision in one of the routes, an abandoned trailer or routine maintenance. Sectors with Traffic II or Lower have a much lesser chance of having this amenity.

Effect Time: 1h 30m - full day in-game. Any collisions that were related to reckless driving could potentially show up as a consequence of it. Remember to drive carefully!
-# Sectors with Traffic II or Lower have a much lesser chance of having this amenity.

Closed Route(s) 🛑

From time to time, jump gates require maintenance in order to function properly, After all they are constantly in use! This could be one of the factors for high traffic, potentially delaying your trip more unless you plan accordingly! Some jump-gates or de-acceleration rings leading to or from a sector will be temporarily disabled, sometimes making routes a one-way trip. Plan your Trips Accordingly.
-# Sectors with Traffic II or Lower have a much lesser chance of having this amenity. Dependency Loop and Hell's Pocket are Excluded.

Toll-Spikes 💸

Because of price fluctuations whether its to fund construction projects or just trade, Toll booths to Hyper-Highways in a given area will temporarily double in costs.

Shimmer Stones were something that intrigued me though after a while of I kind of wished there was a variation to these "anomalies" rather than it just be one thing, Basic idea is that these will vary among most sectors throughout the Enigma Territories and are random every 24 hours (ingame), Maybe one or two can be active at the same time, dunno. This is to also bring a good challenge to those looking for one.

Miscellaneous 📦

AI Vehicles using License Plates

Considering how we're in the age of Commercializing the Galaxy, other Star-Haulers should have Registration plates too since the player already has the ability to utilize them.

  • Vehicle VINs and Variations are completely randomized
  • Possible setting to separate license plate types (long and rectangle) if there are enough variations of themselves

Camera shows Playermodel if using the Spacesuit

While its not necessary to animate the playermodel when its in photomode, it would be great to be able to do posing of your character while salvaging or repairing, the space suit having a few preset poses for things like holding objects or just posing you can pick.
*this only works if you are in your space suit

Camera models shown on Rig

We know where the cameras on the monitors show but there’s no model proving where they really are

Photo Mode: Filters

This will give the option to apply or remove the grainy filter the solar flares give the exterior camera for cleaner photos as well as the option for the heat waves (both are separate options only applicable in the solar provinces)

Photo Mode: Frames

Want to make your photos look more like Postcards? This would be the perfect suggestion for that, depending on your achievement progress you may unlock a variety of photo frames involving Sectors/Territories, Companies or just the Logo

Stats show on Save Slots

When looking at the main menu or ingame when trying to load a save, one or two additional details can be shown; Your Player-Level and how much profit you have in the save.

Actual Sidejobs 👨‍💼

While they already exist for the main story, they more-or-so act like Favors by the main characters of the game so here’s a set of ideas that could be used for the ENDGAME experience:

Killkirk’s Salvaging
This one is a favorite of mine from one of the story events, simply enter the salvage yard and request for a job. You may pick up abandoned (or even wrecked) trailers and drop them off as many times as you want, if you feel like you’ve had enough, you can access the CB and select “Finish Work”, this will only apply if you don’t have a trailer. (Although this is more like a local job from 1-3 sectors)

Pizza or Mail Delivery
Much like Barrow’s side job, this could be another thing you could do by accessing the business dock in Three Kings which will open up the prompt to initiate “Delivery Runs”, deliver up to 2-4 units across a randomized route formation before they get cold. (Tips won’t apply if the food is too cold). This could also apply with Mail.

Auto-Salvaging
Finding a broken down rig isn’t as common but when you do see one, lend a hand! call for a trailer and deliver the wreck to any nearby Upgrade/Bodyshop and receive compensation for being a Good Samaritan. (This could also work as just another trailer type to deliver to certain areas)

Lighting Tweaks 💡

While we have the main headlights to show us the way, its current state isn't enough to entirely avoid space junk with how the Auxiliary and roof lights provide no light coverage whatsoever. There should be more illumination added to the lights based on their switches:

Headlights (Fig A.)
The main lights that face forward will have their normal range while the ones angled away act as spotlights with a much shorter range

Auxiliary Lights (Fig B.)
These act as sidemarkers, their range is about 1/3 of what the headlights typically reach and are useful to determine the clearance between your rig and any large object.

Roof Lights (Fig C.)
Not as helpful as the first two, these could still provide some illumination

NOTES:
This isn't intended for the NPC haulers to be affected by this as it's meant to be for the player rig, this is a means to improve visibility and also give more purpose to the auxiliary lights.
