I think that is a justifiable weakness. The Hampden is limited and it still sucks.

The Mosquito is a kredit cheaper, harder to kill on enemy turn, has blitz and the same stats. It's better in so many ways.

Yes, but compare the difference. +2 kredits to attack isn't that much more powerful, certainly useful, but not better in every single way.

That can be useful. I've seen people use it and used it myself. It grabs attention from more important things and can be dangerous if left alone.

What I want to see is some sort of archetype that develops really cheap standard infantry like 1st infantry and buffs them up.

You may not put them into your deck, but you develop them inside. Think like of an order like pilot escape but standard and for cheap infantry.

Maybe something like 'Add a random 1 cost infantry from your main nation to your support line. If it doesn't have blitz, give it +1+2 and move it to the frontline."
