Currently Japan has 3 anti-heal cards (51st Recon, Kagoshima Regiment and Type 89 Chi-Ro). The main problem with the third card being its stats. 3k 1op 3/2 is horrible for a none blitz tank especially since its effect relies on you hoping the enemy is healing most of the time which is entirely dependant on the enemy being Brit Main, Sov Ita control or Throp meanwhile the other 2 is seen play on Jaggro for the stats and ambush of Kagoshima, free Blitz infantry for 2k for 51st Recon but Chi-Ro isn't used at all.

My proposition: swap the attack and defense and add Smokescreen. This will at least make the tank viable on Japan smokescreen and especially could be a secondary HQ burner if the enemy decides to heal.

I guess, but in an aggressive deck that matters less
especially since with smokescreen it can be used in a smokescreen deck

I think the only use for this tank right now is playing it in combination with Respite. Nothing special, so a big buff to its survivability aspect is probably a good thing.
In general, I also throw in with the proposal to increase the Type 95 Ha-Go stats to 2/3, Type 97 Chi-Ha to 3/4.

I personally would prefer this card to have the effect of "When any HQ gains defense, it takes twice as much damage."
So that the units stack with each other and don't prevent 51st Recon from receiving an attack. The final effect with a single unit of this tank would be identical to what it is now.

In fact, it doesn't change the effect of the card itself, it just allows you to stack them if you play a larger number of these tanks ;d
Currently if we want to heal for 5, this card reduces it to 0 and deals 5 damage instead. So 0 - 5 = -5
The proposed change would make the heal for 5 still exist, but it would also deal -10 damage, so it would be:
5 -10 = -5
The same, except that currently it is so that if you have 2 of these tanks, the result is still -5, after such a change in the case of control of 2 the result would jump to -15 ๐ Potentially with 3 tanks to -25 ๐
