I have a suggestion. i think dev can developing historical general to join battlefield along with 40 cards deck, the rules as follow :
- Each general have different set of active and passive abilities
- Passive abilities attached to the general and can't be removed by opponent
- Active abilities can be used when charged-up, by deploying unit, kill enemy unit, etc, and can only be use only once per battle
- There should be different types of general, such as offensive general and defensive general
- Offensive general can assist in attack, such as give unit extra attack, 'Blitz', reduce operation cost, draw extra card, 'Suppress' enemy unit, dealing damage to unit or HQ
- Defensive general can assist in defensive jobs, such as restore troop health, HQ health, kredit slot bonus, 'Retreat' enemy unit, give 'Ambush' and 'Armor' bonus
- Player can only bring one general for each match, but can assign different general for different deck
- General don't count towards 40 card (HQ need to be too)
- General have different rarities (from common, to legendary)
- We can see own and opponent general portrait on the battlefield
- General can be get by achieving level in country progression, tournament or purchase for real money (Just like player avatar)
Example :
Erwin Rommel (Legendary Rarity) (Germany Main nation)
Passive abilites : All unit deployed have 'Blitz'
Active abilities : Add 3 random German tank with total cost of 8 kredit on the support line and give them -1 operational cost
I believe it is win-win for player and dev perspective :
- Player get a new feature
- Developer get a new way to earn money
