I don't know how viable this is but, from my perspective as a "player of science", I would really love it if 1939 games would publish every three months or so data on card usage and win ratio. I recall a long time ago, when Ari Big Behn was championing the old Fast Heinz deck, we got some communication from 1939 about why the nerfs to Germany were taking so long, and it had to do with the overall low win ratio of the nation.

It would be nice to take a look at how frequently each card it's used and its win ratio, so as a community could both find creative ways to use cards but more importantly know which cards were problematic previously and why they were changed.

I say this because of the recent Reichsbank nerfs. It's good to see that 1939 games is taking player feedback seriously. That being said, the reason for publishing previous data is to address concerns that having daily updates would skew the meta.

Having a publication of these data every quarter or so would help people like me create new innovative decks and discover more fun ways of playing. I'm sure it would also help us all find out which cards are problematic or not, and to help with better suggestions.

Thank you for the good work!

I think it could be fun to try and make low usage cards work

I overall agree but important to keep in mind that such posts will refine the meta much more intenstely then even currently. Many casual players will simply look at what is said to be the best deck and jam that
We actually saw it happen many years ago with old data publishing that said certain decks were very good and ended up with them getting even more popular

since the meta should shift enough that old data doesn't cause everyone to dogpile onto it
