Just delete it and start from scratch

weak prairie
#

How could you possible believe these cards are balanced at all

civic pelican

#

Ah yes filling your entire backline with KT

#

Definitely balanced

#

This is unsalvageable just delete this and start from scratch

weak prairie
#

This is so overpowered not even god himself could nerf it

he probably thinks if Germany had just built the Maus they would’ve won the war

weak prairie
#

That’s just absurd

#

It wasn’t a good tank in the first place, way too heavy and expensive

#

Easy pickings for airstrikes

civic pelican
#

For it to be destroyed by airstrikes

#

It would have to get to the frontline first

#

Without breaking down atleast

#

15 times

weak prairie
civic pelican

Thats a point as well

muh if germans finished their wunderwaffes they would win

weak prairie
#

I do agree German tanks were better than allied tanks (on paper). Even without the complete mechanical failures that the German tanks had, there just weren’t enough German tanks

#

The main issue was how expensive they were, and it would’ve been fine if they didn’t break down every few hours

civic pelican
#

the issue was that germans didnt need these tanks

#

remember that shermans were using 75mm cannon up to 1945

#

and that wasnt a problem at all

weak prairie
#

I agree, but if you take out the mechanical issues they suffered they were generally better. The Panther for example had thicker armor, had a beefier gun, and was actually faster than both allied and soviet tanks. The main issue was it would break down constantly

#

The reason why the Sherman was good was because it was an all-rounder, the Germans made tanks for certain situations instead of standardizing on a single design

weak prairie
#

If the Germans standardized on a single all-rounder type tank, I wouldn’t say they would have won the war, but they would have had a better chance. And maybe also stop making Wunderwaffe, all those did was soak up resources that were needed elsewhere

civic pelican
#

eh

#

they had no chances anyways

weak prairie

The person who decided to greenlight that tank must’ve been tryna sabotage the war effort. The KT was a huge drain of resources and it wasn’t even good in the process, they should’ve stuck to the Tiger

gray pawn

Just “whenever you deploy a heavy tank, give it guard, salvage and blitz.” Would be fine

weak prairie
#

Guard salvage and blitz?

gray pawn

But it’s whenever you deploy a heavy a tank, so that lasts for the rest of the round

gray pawn
#

It’s not like contests doctrine or anything, 12k cost means you are holding off until after turn 12 to play any heavy units

weak prairie
gray pawn
#

And ramp has much better options than German heavy tanks

#

The only one that could potentially be broken is the panther that deals equal damage to the enemy hq

#

But that’s about it

weak prairie
gray pawn
#

That’s the point- make a dull card that’s soley tied to a gimmick

weak prairie
#

!tiger

loud micaBOT
weak prairie
#

But also with salvage, blitz and guard

#

Because that’s fair

gray pawn
#

That you sunk 12k to get…

#

Even if you played 4 German heavy tanks, that’s still costing you ~10k a tank. Sure it may not be all at once, but there are much stronger high cost orders

gray pawn
#

Still, something like reich research is infinitely better than this

They also all have enough op cost to damage the hq unless you have extra credit slots, and played nothing else

weak prairie
#

Also, this could work with other heavy tanks not just German ones

And of course it’s a threat if you don’t have a counter. That applies to all heavy tanks. Of course you can move and attack the same Turn in exchange for doing nothing for an entire turn

gray pawn
#

But yes, this would apply only to German tanks
