Ever played against someone who was dead silent the whole match, but then unleashed a wave of "BWAHAHA"s and "Zzz"s as they topdecked into their winning condition?
I know that cutting the com cables is always possible, however I'd like to be presented with another option. Something... less toxic ig?

Yeah. I'm pretty sure whatever the emotes r, there will be a toxic one in a pragmatical sense. And this suggestion does nothing with the already existing toxic emotes. But it could alleviate the issue. (Which is luckily not too sever.)

well atleast it does give you the option to use it positively or interpreted as positive unlike "ZZZ" and "Bwaaaa" which can only be used in a toxic manner. I think more positive emotes would be great.

Zzz and bwahaha is the reason the first thing i do in a match is to just mute. I dont need that roping and sarcastic emotes in a already RNG top decking environment. So yes remove those emotes

2. People being people

I dont think there is any issue with adding friendly emotes, however i think people will use them them to do the exact same thing as meaner ones.

they can go ahead and do so, that means the toxic people have an additional ineffective way of being annoying, while at the same time, the nice players have a much better way of demonstrating friendliness and gratitude.

For a friendly emote to become toxic, it has to be used repeatedly for that purpose and mostly for that purpose....luckily I don't think Kards community is that toxic - its just that the non toxic part of the community stays mostly dead silent during games

I know but I've been asking for a permanent OFF switch for years, as have others and I was chatting with RedSun only yesterday about how good it would be to have friendly emotes so this is a last resort 😀

While I understand Harley's wish - sometimes you just want to get back at toxic people - it is important to remember that these toxic emoters are people we're never going to meet in our lifetimes, and who feel miserable enough that they need to aggravate others to feel some fun

I beat a Jaggro player once who was streaming on Twitch. They replied with LOL NOOB when they had a big advantage, but then I wrecked them with my German Discard deck

Eh, I'll take discard over Jaggro any day.

Discard can be handled a few different ways, but it needs to be flexible however you approach it.

Jaggro punishes too many high cost cards, and imho high cost is where the fun is.

Main thing with discard is that if the reply itself gets discarded you need another one

But even with elite-heavy play, you still should have different interesting stuff

And Jaggro can just get away with way too much in the early game without any risk. All of their stuff operates at 0 cost, they have the best removal, and they draw cards like crazy.

Well, on the other hand it has to be emphasized that if Jaggro doesn't win the game by turn 7, or if you manage to stabilize the board around turn 3-4 it's usually hard for this deck to do anything xD

Or at least that's how I see it when playing vs Jaggro, if you manage to block the initial rush and not los 10HP from HQ by turn 5, that's pretty much how the game ends for this deck.

And it should be emphasized that there are many anti-aggro tools in this expansion, which in the form of 1 card often set the situation for us until turn 3. Such as Kholm or 40 Royal Marines.
