oh man out of all the people there u picked the worse one
But yea I’ve been self teaching for 8 months now
Yeah
But I’m only practicing this for emotion
Paramore is NOT a great choice otherwise lol
But Hayley has really good expression
no bruh i meant me
Oh
Wym lol
How much?
It sounds close to me
But then again I don’t have the best ear
🥀
Lemme grab a better example
This my favorite clip so far
I mean yeah I’m working on getting my ear better
I can match or harmonize with a track when I hear it
But I need to be able to stay in tune in general
Is the tone good atleast?
Decent technique?
I usually go for a 5/10
when in tune its decent
lol
well problem solved good luck
@lime depot
Mb
Just realized I had a threat for it
Aight so
I’ve been working on my first song
Wanted to get ur opinion
It’s the song u posted above?
Be honest with me
?
Yeah
I can’t
One moment
Nah it’s above the soundtrack actually
By like 6
I’ll make it higher 😭
It did make a difference with a headphone on
Still, it sounds low in volume, but with headphones on i could hear it over the soundtrack
By a small margin
I normally don’t max the vocals but Ik some people do for the lead
Ig I’ll do that
You gotta think people might listen to it without headphones, so maybe it has to do with stereo/mono
Sort of stuff
The reason as to why I couldn’t listen ur voice properly without headphones
Something to think of
Fair
I like the beat, but i’d like to point out that the singing sounds monotone
Not saying it’s badly sung
That was kinda the point, not such much the emotionless part
But it doesn’t vary in pitch and tone
If you don’t add variety
Most people might get bored early
Is the song decent for a first time atleast?
I was going for a 5/10
As usual
Ok I lost access to this chat yesterday and found it again now
I mean I can’t understand the lyrics too well but I like the beat
I mean if I pay enough attention
I can get the lyrics down
But i’d need to lock in
It isn’t that intuitive
Because of the other factors I’d mentioned
Altering tone and diction might help with this
Not a volume thing anymore
I mean
It’s not about singing badly
It’s about the attention u will get from listeners
Gotta keep em interested until the song is over
That’s cool, just giving my 2 cents
Yeah maybe playing around w the registers
In every verse
