some guitar playing is a bit sloppy i will re record it but aside from that, im mainly focused what i should do next to improve this piece

Sounds very cool! Very nu-metaly. I think the intro and verse part around 0:40 sound good, reminds me of Linkin Park (that's a compliment). The section at 0:59 sounds like a pre-chorus build up but then it slows down at 1:16. Maybe bring back the synths and riff from the intro for a hard hitting chorus?

Tbh when the lead synth drops out up until the add 9 chords was the verse lol

The bit at 0:40 was the Horus lol

Rlly surprised u thought it sounded nu metaly, I was going for like motionless in white kinda metalcore, but I can see why u thought nu metal

Also thought that certain bits sounded a bit deftony, surprised u thought of linkin park

I'm not too familiar with Deftones but now that you point it out, yeah, I kinda hear it. Same with Motionless. The section after 0:39 is like straight off Meteora though haha

Better mixing, new part of the breakdown, some octave lead playing in the chorus

Have the main riff in the intro pitched an octave up

I think the intro and chorus are fine, but I still feel like the intro synths are the hook and should come back somewhere. Maybe after the chorus or during the breakdown.
