always sounds whiney to me when I go higher in my chest and voice in general, not sure if or how exactly to fix that. To me it sounds too much like my own annoying voice as apposed to a nice timbre most singers develop in contrast to their speaking voice. Is it in my head or does this just sound a bit thin and lacking depth vocally. Is there potential with this style using my voice? Thank you.
#Singing in a higher tone, does it work for me or not?

You sound good 👍what is the problem?
Send a video of those high notes you say so people can listen and help you
Not an expert but if you struggle with high notes try appoggio technique, theorically this helps with the subglotic pressure and release your neck and larynx from straining.
Michael Trimble says: the punishment is against the chest (not against the neck)
My teacher says i dont remember well so i will paraphrase: is not against the neck, it has to be somewhere else, in the body
Well, for me, a novice, you are using falsetto instead of going for the high notes so maybe thats what you meant, you cant go for those high notes?
for the high notes at the beginning, I think the first one sounded great, it sounds like you adjusted to sing a bit more whispery to hit the note. However I can tell on the second one that it is 'thin' sounding. I would practice sustaining those notes and drinking water. To be clear I have no real singing experience it's just what I would do.
Thanks for the feedback man, definitely something to work on for me fs
This is solid advice thank you! You sound so good too it sounds effortless mate. I think I definitely do struggle with placement it seems. Maybe the key was just too high for me I was messing around with singing it in a place where I could try utilise and work on head voice on the high notes but if I just brought it down 2 keys I could’ve sung it in chest. Will work on your advice tonight cheers I appreciate you brother
