I'm a college freshman. I tried out for an acapella group this last semester and made it to the top 3 but they said I didn't have enough technical knowledge because I didn't know what stuff like frechetto and riffs/runs were, so I'm looking to improve before next year tryouts

I've always been a just sing at home to songs guy, never done real singing besides 6th grade choir for background

Your tone is so smooth like melted butter and has a bit of punchiness to it where necessary (woohoo!!) and your pitch is generally great, but I can see where you’re lacking right now. The good news is, I can help you!
