#iHeartVanilla Directors Cut: Convenience and Immersive additions?

Hello! I installed the iHeartVanilla Directors Cut modlist with TR, and added QuickLoot for Fallout 4 style looting as the one thing I was missing off the top of my head.

Im not well versed in the Morrowind modding scene and with such an older title its hard to infinitely scroll by Endorsements or Downloads as some are not OpenMW ready or are out of date.

What are some interesting but lore friendly (or at least thematically cohesive) mods I can add to this setup?

Mostly looking for some more random things to find or interact with to spice up the static nature of the game, but also interested in high quality armors that are visually similar to concept art from Kirkbride or other artists involved with the project.

Also looking for possible portable home (deployable tent, or something), as well as a means to immersively mark places in the world (think a signpost or placeable note system) since last time I played i gave up trying to find the Cavern of the Incarnate and I dont want to use walkthroughs.

Thanks for any recs!

So far im thinking Yurt Crafting with Portable Homes OpenMW script and Guars with Abot's Patch

I really like Morrowind UI functionality. It was added by Tribunal.

#

I use these two myself and they're good.

yeah i was trying to avoid a direct more/improved marker system so i can maintain the natural exploration and discovery of vanilla

#

if i cant get a Acme Co. Wily Coyote style sign where i can plant it and say "not here" or "turn around" for myself ill probably stick to the vanilla marker system

#

(i got GOTY so tribunal is there)

#

like i dont want to stop getting lost, i want tools to get myself un lost, you know?

This one lets you leave notes in world https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/54043

Nexus Mods :: Morrowind

This mod adds sticks of chalk. These can be used to write on the ground, walls, or other surfaces. A selection of pre-set text and symbols are provided, but you can also spell your own message by lett

They ask that you merge the mods that use WARES which you should do, but if you don’t feel like it then the spell tomes will still show up because I give them to different vendors than any of the other mods in those files

ok i wasnt expecting Wares to be an 18 plugin monster lmao

#

heres where im at

brave shell
#

You only need to have WARES.esm enabled to get the spell tomes and you’ll want WARES high up in your load order, whichever of the plugins you use just depends on what mods you have installed. Personally I use MOAR, OAAB, the TR ones, Wares_traders and the vanilla lists

#

Also I see you got the alt version which is cool haha, I didn’t expect that one to be as popular as it is

gloomy halo
#

oh ok so ill wanna go back over I Heart and check its base parts for patches then

#

cause TR is in there for sure but im not sure the others

#

i dont know what SHOTN is or OAAB

brave shell
#

No need to add those then, though those are for Skyrim Home of the Nords and OAAB is an asset like tamriel_data
But if you just want tamriel rebuilt assets and stuff distributed throughout vvardenfell, you’d just want to use the ones I said other than the OAAB

#

But like I said, for spell tomes you only need the Wares base.esm

gloomy halo
#

oh i do have SHOTN then i didnt recognise the abreviation

#

cause i have the "full TR" set of skyrim/mainland/cyrodil

#

in addition to vvarv

#

oh and PC is project Cyrodyl of course

brave shell
#

Yeah

gloomy halo
#

still not sure what oaab or NOD is

ahhhhhh

#

A lot of really high quality mods that add player homes or new areas and dungeons use OAAB but it’s not necessary if you’re just playing Tamriel rebuilt and whatnot

i would recommend putting all of the WARES above AFFresh along with patch for purists, i think WARES comes before pfp. Tamriel_data.esm should also be around the same place as OAAB_Data.esm, TR_mainland, Cyr_Main, and skyrim home of the nords should all go directly below those i believe
You can put spelltomes at the very bottom along with the conjuration spell fix
you'll want

#

the rest of yours don't matter too much i don't think but in general the logic goes
base game > WARES base.esm > assets > large landmass mods (TR, Cyrodil, skyrim) > patches > the rest of WARES > everything else

gloomy halo
#

so this is fine by morrowind standards?

#

its yelling at me about Sky_main and Cyr_main

brave shell
#

Oh no you need all those wares lower 0.o
