It will re-implement the Inn mechanic for 99% of inns in Morrowind, modded or otherwise.

It allows you to rent rooms for longer periods of time, extend your rental, lock your inn door(and close it automatically), and adjust the cost of the rent.

Additionally, it will allow you to use the items inside of the room, including containers and misc items.

Note that some Inns aren't implemented properly using global variables, I've added some overrides for the known ones in TR and Bloodmoon, but other might not work properly. Also, the room and inkeeper must be in the same cell, otherwise it will default to the original behavior.

Great idea. What happens if you store items in there and your renting period is over?

I'm working on another mod that makes it so you have to store items safely, or they will be confiscated or stolen

One other feature I forgot to mention, when sleeping in an inn room(with a closed, locked door) you will be safe from DB assassins and 6th house cultist attacks in your sleep.

If the inn is implemented properly the global variable should be there

If you navigate from the publican's position to the bed, with the Door flag on, it should "pass" through the door. Then you can iterate over the points and find a door that gets intersected by it

Maybe this way you can avoid the manual whitelist

Often if the door is missing the variable, the bed is too

Also, bar doors can block them from navigating to the door

The premise of this mod is divinely inspired. What a boon for RPers, and fans of regional living and progression. Kudos to @light flume

It just reimplements it in lua so it can more easily be modified
