Hi! I’m Prison and I’ve just started making my first game in GDevelop. The game is called Coin Quest and it’s a small but fun top-down arcade game. The idea is simple: you move around a level, collect as many coins as you can and try to beat the timer. Every coin you pick up gives you points and spawns a new coin in a safe spot. When the timer runs out, the game ends. Each round lasts 60 seconds, so it’s quick, addictive, and great for replaying or speed running.

Right now, the game is focused on one simple mode, but I want it to grow. In the future, I’d love to add more levels, different characters, power-ups, new obstacles and even special challenges. The base game works, but with the right team, we can make it much more fun and polished.

At the moment, I’m the only developer working on the project. I can handle the coding and main development side, but I need help with other parts of the game. I’m looking for:

  • A pixel artist to design the character, coins, tiles, and backgrounds.
  • An animator to bring those sprites to life with simple retro animations.
  • A UI/UX designer to make menus, HUD, and screens look clean and easy to use.
  • A composer/sound designer to create music and sound effects like coin pickups, hits, and game over sounds.
  • A game designer who can help balance gameplay, design levels, and make it engaging.

This project is small and simple, but it has a lot of room to grow. It’s a good chance to practice, build experience, and do a complete game together. If you like retro arcade games and want to be part of a fun indie project, I’d love to work with you.
