I don't get this, either. I've had Drillers (I know it seems like I harp on about drillers a lot, but honestly half the dumb shit I see people do are tied to that kit in particular) C4 teammates before getting to the drop pod. Technically, it doesn't affect the mission outcome? but it's still a PoS thing to do. DRG is a PvE game, not PvP. Go play PvP if you want to do that to strangers/random people 🙄

In the drop pod, yeah, no harm, really, go wild with whatever, watch the frames drop and hope the game doesn't crash lol. I was referring to doing it anytime before then. What Duncan said has also happened to me a few times, actually, C4 the bottom of the ramp which can make it impossible for any class to make it up if they're out of platforms, ziplines, or fuel.

You don't know how a complete stranger will interpret your actions, something like griefing can develop actual trauma in someone. It's honestly just always better to do something like killing another player in a PvE co-op game when it's your friend and they understand why you're doing it.

Same, for the most part. I really like point extraction (aquarqs) now, probably my favourite mission to do. I used to like the drilldozer and dreadnaught missions, but not so much a fan now. I wanna say I like the missions that don't involve Molly 👀

Liquid refinery is also my favourite with a group on comms, probably the most fun I've had in the game has been on those.

Overall not a great achievement/trophy for a co-op game, IMO, and 100 missions is excessive, though, I understand that the list for this game is largely under the idea that this is a game meant to last a long time.

I find it just happens more often on console in any shooter, players tend to line up shots with their left analog stick > aiming with the right analog stick. With KBaM you see less strafe aiming. But yeah, should be understood in games with friendly fire to not strafe in front of teammates in firefights, or crouch if you're in front (if it's an option), and some games are better at illustrating this to players than others.

I'm used to Aliens Fireteam Elite, where one flamethrower burst or shotgun blast on the highest difficulty will melt all your health away and likely down you. Maybe that's why I don't notice it much on DRG, because I've been conditioned to limit strafing and be aware of my teammate's positioning. Might be worth noting that the damage in a game like that consistently exceeds your health pool, but I'm not really sure how much that is in DRG, i.e. dwarf health vs dwarf dps.

Fastest will be 4 eggs. Easiest will be point extraction with scouts.

I still need to give the EDD this week another go, but stage 2 of it is absolute hell. Spawned in with literally 20 mactera spawns and around 10 trijaws right outside the drop pod, whole team was dead within 2 minutes
