plasma bursters can do nutty damage to swarms once you learn the bounce. proxy nades are great for chokepoints, especially on escort and salvage

Plus it was extremely far in the ceiling. That was probably the most daunting part of it. If you didn’t know a helmet was found you wouldn’t find it because you needed to zoom out to the near max limit and look for a purple dot.

The Unions feature is only part of the Steam version of the game. It does not exist in any other version. The PlayStation and Discord account linking is only to allow Discord to show what PlayStation game you're currently playing as your status. From what I saw, it won't be doing any more than that, at least for now. Xbox has had the same Discord account linking for a good while now, and it still doesn't have Unions. The devs have said that Unions are sort of a prototype implementation that they'd like to be able to revisit at some point in the future. I wouldn't expect Unions to make it to console versions until they actually get to work more on the whole Unions feature, and there's no telling if or when that would be able to happen.
We're not really missing much by not having Unions. They don't have any game mechanics tied to them; they're essentially just a few bonus credits and minerals every now and again

It's timing. You fight two at once (or get down to just one of the twins) and keep their HP even so you can finish them in that 30s window.

No, finishing fast technically provides less XP per mission, since killing bugs and depositing minerals adds XP.
However, those things provide relatively few XP compared to completing the primary and secondary objectives, so it's not really worth sticking around just to get a few more minerals. Although, if you don't fully explore, you could potentially miss a Machine Event, Korlok, or even something like a Bittergem that would provide a decent chunk of XP.
You kinda have to way the risk of missing things with the reward of running more missions, since you get the most XP from completing the primary objective. If the only thing you want is XP fast, it makes sense to speed through the mission so you can run as many as possible as quick as possible. If you plan on doing that though, you should be the one hosting, because not everyone wants to just speed through

As far as I know pressing triangle near a wall will call for Molly 90% of times. The rest will be a successful hover boots usage. Trying to be better at gathering ceiling minerals as a scout .

From my experience, it does prioritize weakspots if possible.

I believe the color of the trajectory changes colors based on if the target is visible or not and/or is hitting a weakspot.

Rock and stone, brothers! One thing I'd like to know - sometimes I can't give strangers accolades. The button is simply not there. There doesn't seem to be a pattern behind this, as the button is often there when playing in a group of all friends, even when playing alone.

Is that a known bug or does that follow any regularity I simply didn't grasp yet? Sometimes I even get accolades bug can't return the favor.

I don’t understand how Glyphid Dreadnoughts armor works. Initially, the whole armor bar is grey. But then it seems randomly the bar will split into three where you have to focus on the external 3 crystals.

In between those moments it seems the duration Before the weak spots are exposed are completely random

The Unions feature is fairly limited in what it does, so no one is really missing out on much of anything. There's not really anything to it other than picking one of the three unions to join and getting a few Credits and Minerals every now and again. The devs have said they'd like to revisit the feature at some point in the future, if possible.
I would not expect the PlayStation or Xbox/Microsoft Store versions of the game to get Unions before the devs have a chance to actually do more with the feature

I never really saw an issue with pulling out multiple eggs at the same time. Its good practice to survive a swarm on your own as I often venture solo in preparation for EDD.

Especially when you try calling Molly but the other dwarves keep spamming the beacon away.

Has the way the egg waves work changed? When I played on PC we tried to pull a few at a time since you'd only get a swarm and a smaller wave or two, but now I sometimes get multiple swarms at once (with multiple sets of voice lines from control)

egg hunts has 1/2/3 announced swarms in total depending on the mission lenght (lenght 1=1 swarm, 2=2 swarms etc). the eggs which trigger announced swarms are pre-determined upon starting the mission. it has worked this way for at least 1 year (as long as ive been playing)

2111 is a solid start for a beginner but you might want to change to Barbed Drills in T1 once you get more confident with your movement and understanding the melee ranges and different bugs attacks in-game

with 44 ammo capacity you can drill about 150 meters in a straight line btw, good to remember when you want to drill straight to the drop pod

its tricky to get a hold off, practice makes perfect. one thing that helps is that instead of facing straight the thing you want to mine, try to position yourself a bit sideways to it, that will help to anticipate the timing

also if youre not the host, high ping makes it very hard
