Stand as far back (away from tower) on the pad as possible. It'll be in front of you (if you're facing the tower, which of course you are, the dang thing is trying to kill you!)

I (ps4) have no issues joining a ps5 when they invite me. It doesn't let them connect to my party when I send the invite. I would try to set it up through your ps5. Other than that, I would just do what Giftiger Gott suggested. Hopefully it fixes when you reset your stuff!

It's bizarre. I saw the other person gets a message saying connection lost. When I send the invite, and they can't connect, I don't receive any error message, etc. Very frustrating for them, I'm sure!

maybe a dumb question but is there a specific way to encounter events? I can't seem to find them randomly while doing missions.

They are random I believe

Fully random. Sometimes you'll find one three missions in a row, and sometimes you'll play what feels like a ton of missions without seeing any. I think when the cave is generated there's something like a 1-in-6 chance of a Machine Event spawning (the wiki might have more exact or correct odds listed, if I'm wrong).
The only trick you have any control over is making sure you search the cave thoroughly. You might be done with the primary and secondary objectives already, but if there's obvious missed areas visible on the terrain scanner it might be worth checking it out real quick before pushing the button

IMO, nobody got 4 dwarves to from no promotion to gold 1 in a week. that would put you at player level ~235 (leveling up individual dwarves over 700 times). An "average" hours-to-player-level ratio is about 2:1, meaning in general folks take about 400-500 hours of play to hit gold 1 on all dwarves. A hypothetical DRG TASbot doing nothing but double XP H5 runs for 168 hours straight (7x24) would not achieve that, much less a human.

you can build scout for wave clear but that's not scout's strength IMO. mobility, taking out high value targets, lighting, support, mining, secondary objectives are where he really shines. but if you're in a smaller group (or solo) you gotta pull more combat weight

How does this mod work?

Bugs will avoid walking on the platforms if they can. They will still walk on the platforms to get to you if there is no other way (or if the other way is too far). You can use it to guide where the bugs walk

It can be good, but it takes a little practice to figure out how to use it effectively

[neon gorge]

To get very technical, it makes it so the bugs register your plats as an increased distance than they actually are, meaning they will go around it as if it is a longer path. This means you cant do something like make a circle and hope the bugs never go in. It takes practice to use but can be very good for setting up chokepoints for your aoe weapons. Also, I believe standing on any of ur platforms will negate the effect.

I find the PS4 version to be very playable but yea it does slowdown and chug when fights get hectic whereas the PC version runs buttery smooth on my 6 year old rig…..all the more reason I can’t wait to get a PS5

Melee class was tried out by the devs but they said it wasn’t impactful in the gameplay when they supposedly tested it and have also stated it’s an FPS game want the main focus to be guns

The DEVS may very well add a new class one day to keep things fresh but they only just started doing seasons- I feel like it will be awhile and only after lots of testing

The higher the difficulty the faster you have to move. If you go slow then you'll get hit and every hit hurts more.
