Honestly, the only answer I can give you is....magic of procedural generation.

Machine events have a room generator component to create RMA_CarverA around it, which is the general sphere-like room.

Depending on what phase of cave generation happened first:

• The CarverA room removed ground underneath the Morkite Well due to the proximity being just outside the important location radius to avoid.
• There was a biome related crystal that came out of the wall that was considered a valid location for the Morkite Well by being TTM_Rock (terrain type material) and within the maximum angle specified in the CSG Triangle Mapper portion of the Debris Positioning component for the Simple Event Spawner. The Morkite Well then carved it out when making itself visible via its Static Mesh Carver components that happen near the match start.

All Bulks is really fun but also really difficult at the same time. When there's a huge chain explosion the terrain may not update properly until like 10 seconds later XD And beyond a certain point the terrain is unusable, especially for Refinery which I've been doing with this preset. I could barely place down the 3rd pipeline because the destroyed terrain was so far down. Here's a nuclear explosion at the end of a successful mission I just did

posting here due to rules, I do not run anything but hud and display mods. I think this is a base game issue but for some reason my screen flashes with these lights every time I use the EPC. They are these very bright streaks of lights that cover my whole screen and they all converge at the maps 0 point. Everytime I puill out my EPC the whole screen becomes almost white. Had this issue both modded and unmodded its eversince hopped on my new pc, its modern and the parts are younger than drg itself. So I dont thing its outdated or weak hardware. It's the superdense rock layers from the Drillevator sequence, they don't spawn on terrain gen but rather get generated when the drill starts/gets to a certain point
