and incendiaries if i can figure out what graphics setting i need to change so i don't go completely blind to the bloom it creates

If your gonna go Bertha AC, no reason to do explosive neuro bulldog. AC still has aoe you know. Just go with lead spray or ele rounds to help your single target

Its still a huge mystery to me how a solo scout on EDD can finish a salvage stage alone
There's 2 possible answers: 1. Im still leaf lover (i still wonder how), 2. Cheater, but lie the way it looks real (doesnt blame devs, pve games doesnt need anti cheats, some ppls need to have fun)

Solo scout in dreadnought stage EDD is more possible to win, than salvage stage EDD

both dreadnought and salvage edd's are about the same difficulty to me. ive played through a few salvage and elimination missions solo on hazard 5 myself, and they are very possible... just not that easy. when youre speedrunning, id just rely on my cryo grenades, get a little lucky, and abuse my max ammo m1k build with blowthrough rounds.

Yea, scout weapons mostly for single target, their job in swarm is to assassin dangerous targets, and some slow/freeze/distraction support
Its very hard to solo defending mission on EDD
Solo scout on EDD vs dreads is more plausible than defend mission like salvage or black box

Your ammo effieciency as solo scout is really tested there

I was smooth as hell and it worked

Unfortunately I have yet to do so, probably because I suck at hitting the 3 weakpoints

The key is to use the grapple to slide across the ice and use the zhuks as well as the odd focus shit on the points

I think you can do a hiveguard in 2 phases, although 3 is the best I can do reliably. I hope zh0s or silaise will share a video showing a 2 phase hiveguard if it's possible. drednaughts should not really be a problem if you're at the level when you're speedrunning elite deep dives and you should practice killing them fast. Both barrels of Jumbo shells on a frozen dred's weakspot does insane damage, as do embedded detonators.

One thing I didn't consider is does the dred get frozen resistance on the ice biomes? I know the regular ice biome enemies do.

This is not really a speedrun suggestion but if youre doing it with a team I ran it a few times this week and I always would plan like this: 1) scout gets nitra/aquarq ASAP. You should be able to have one resupply and most if not all of the aquqarqs by time first swarm arrives 2) deal with first swarm 3) immediately fight dred 4) finish up

oh 100% PE + Blackbox = only 1 consistent way to do it. But there is enough nitra through stage1/2 that you can literally not even mine ANY nitra in stage3. Just drop a resup or 2 when you land and rush aquarqs (only7) then do the black box as soon as the first swarm ends.. should have all 7 or at least 4 of them by the first swarm call

It comes down to what you're most comfortable with. You look at what's coming up, and make decisions based on that really, but some people will go faster on a scout, and some people will go faster on a driller, etc.
