Worst case, you could always have them whip out their cellphone and record the end screen and have them pull up the mod screen quick 🤷‍♂️

Don't know if this is the right place to put it, and I know it's not really fast, but first solo Elite Deep Dive (and first Elite Deep Dive in general I have no Dwarven Brothers), and if I could only manage to do the refine liquid morkite faster, it would be much faster, cause the first and last mission are a breeze (12min - 30min - 10min)! Looking forward to faster times with that new confidance, Rock and Stone Brothers

Consistent clipping depends on framerate and if you're host or client. You have better chances with higher framerates and as a client, but that's not to say it's impossible as a host at about 80-90 fps. There's also spamming (like 3x a sec or so, not that fast) your jump and directional inputs simultaneously towards the inside of the pod that can also help.

I've had the most consistency with alternating my button presses by a press and release of the deposit button followed by a press and release of the pickaxe button. So basically [deposit] press, release -> [pickaxe] press, release -> [repeat]. I also sometimes hold a directional input to help me gauge when to press pickaxe since when you start depositing you stop moving, and when you stop depositing you start moving when holding a direction. There is a certain rhythm to it that you can take slow, if you want, to help yourself get the timing of it.

If you're on mouse and keyboard, an easier method is to spam the scroll wheel up & down and spam [deposit]. This works if you have the scroll wheel mapped to switch weapons.

I imagine everything above can be done on a controller too, though instead of the scroll wheel method I think you'd be using the arrow buttons to switch weapons during spam deposit.

The only problem with spam depositing is that it opens up a chance for molly to get up and reposition by a meter or two which interrupts the spam deposit. Its a small chance, but large enough that if it does happen can be annoying. It can also be interrupted in a squad setting if a teammate calls molly from somewhere else.

It doesn't happen overnight in any game and it's a small community that needs people. We should accept anyone with open arms and help point people in the right direction. Speed running isn't easy requires good understanding on a fundamental level as well as a technical with good resources friends connections teammates luck and many other factors. It's good to help people feel welcome and know that perfection isn't needed but strived for and that everyone improves

So, I didn't have the intention to do a solo run with gunner, but since my teammates left on the first map.... well that happened! I brought Lead Storm with Lead Storm and BRT with Lead Spray..... so yeah, that's some solo build only, I was counting on others for swarms lol! Still, because my driller did 2 tunnels on round 1, it allowed me to get 2 pipes easier and finish this hell hole, and on the 3rd map, I had a pretty bad 2nd stage spot, but a flipping bulk spawned to make me a better spot.... thanks big bro! Well, I understand that it can be a bit tricky (specially the Lead Storm OC and also Rotary Overdrive), but if you want some build for those and maybe some explanation, I can send you some in DMs, cause Lead Storm is my favourite gun for the gunner tbh! You can use it for solo targets mainly (it shreds bigger targets) but you can also use it VERY efficiently with build against swarms, like with Burning Hell and Bullet Hell!

It is indeed very good, but whenever you need to deal with flying bugs (like in mactera plague), or with ennemies that are far away/on the ceiling, the Lead Storm can be very good at dealing with those targets. In close distance, then yeah the Mortar Rounds is just amazing, no denying it's insane power!

i mean if you're going to be going blind, prob scout is the best all-rounder for raw speed

if you're gonna do a couple runs, there's prob objective types (mining, OSR) where a driller and knowing the gen ahead of time can allow for some quick plays

what class is fastest likely depends on the objectives ultimately

i don't see gunner ever being the fastest tbh, engie maybe if you can do like both hacking segments of a sabo at once using turrets and bosco to cover one

should be frame rate per client, but i'm not sure. generally host framerate has nothing to do with it, but i've been told that you have better luck performing the clip if you have some ping

i think people recommend FR in the triple digits but i can get it just fine with 60. albeit, i'm using my mouse wheel to jump, so the lower framerate is made up for with more frequent jump inputs :P

iirc, large enemies are kinda varied. Barrages, spitballers, and vartoks seem to vary in placement a bit, and if they're close I think they can spawn too close so you get less of them. bulks, nemises, etc are spawned in a pool, so it'll kinda spawn around the same wave, but the exact wave timings are random as well as the wave compositions to a degree

leeches should always be in the same spots tho i think

Eh, 45 still takes a fair amount of skill. Its a bit like graduating from scrub land. Getting in Elite Dive is just a light flex. I would go for another achieve of doing an elite in under 35, though.

So, comparison should be based on Team# - Time combo

But in both cases the time is impressive
