those sad moments you put another OC and forget about it, tried to do a shotgun jump and just have a very awkward realization

I've had that happen with compressed golds and once a bittergem. Sometimes the spawn point conflicts with some other feature of the cave generation or where something like a mobile refinery drops in so you just get a loose goodie.

You'll sometimes also have things like Jadiz or Enor Pearls which are partially sticking out of a surface in their starting location.

I always say hoverboot+dash > field medic+iron will for reviving teamates and surviving swarms (when it comes to gunner as I'm a loyal gunner main), this is my proof

i've got special builds with overclocks for every weapon, but for this mission i had a swarm focused minigun(bullet hell oc, also bc of parasites) and a single target bulldog build(elephant rounds oc)

i make my builds from trial and error, idk any meta builds or whatnot

mostly bc the stun+ricochet combo is really powerful for swarmers and airborn pests

you shoot one and get the surrounding bugs to half health, therefore saving ammo and doing more overall damage

ok so lead storm overclock for minigun focused on damage, rate of fire, and armor breaking, while on a zipline, is pretty useful for shredding dreds and its armor. But i tend to use my secondaries for big damage at weakpoints

and tripple tech chambers for coil gun focused on damage as well is also good for getting some good dents in a dreds health if you hit their weakpoints, but you'd probably have to run right up to them to shoot bc the extra two shots have very high recoil. its similar to my bulldog build in the way i have to use it, so dash is always useful for hit and run tactic

oh yeah also having cooling from kills on your minigun can be a lifesaver and really powerful especially against swarms. often you'll just never overheat if you go slaughtering bugs in mass

Does anybody else do this. I'm obsessed with making a build for every unique/interesting overclock in the game. The caveat being that I have to make them all easily accessible in seconds - rather than swapping around mods and overclocks for minutes.
Attached below is a diagram of what overclock is used for every single gun in each build slot - with a web of blue lines indicating which weapons are paired with which.
I've spent hours properly crafting the perfect setup with only 5 slots (Which, I hope will increase soon) - I've done this with every other dwarf too.
