My team’s panic was palpable, but we pulled through (with a great haul of gold, too, due to both a Gold Rush and a toast with Pots o’ Gold beforehand)…only for one of my teammates to get squashed with a resupply and later be downed on the front step of the Drop Pod at the last second.

Still, we celebrated at the end for a job well done.

This was the order the Dreads awakened each other in. First a regular Dread woke the Hiveguard, then the Hiveguard woke the Twins when the first Dread was near-death.

I run 21232. EPC is kind of a bitch when it comes to ammo usage, especially if you wanna use Thin Containment Field (the second mod in tier 5, in case that's not what it's called in your language).
If you don't care about destroying minerals from afar and you just wanna shoot stuff, then you can run 312x1. It sacrifices ammo but it maximizes your charged shot damage and it's very satisfying to see whole lines of grunts get erased. For tier 4 I run area of effect, but you can use either of the three based on your needs.

1: Tritalyte Deposit, like it was metioned, it's a Core Infuser event, available once you promote at least one dwarf once to get the key to activate the Infuser.
You activate the lasers and MC sends in bombs to help you destroy it.

2: Errorhenge, a community coined name, gives any and all living things inside of its range a 50% damage reduction buff. Like it was mentioned, don't fight dreads in or near these

3: My personal favorite, the breaker of teams and souls, the OMEN Modular Exterminator, or the OMEN Tower for short. This big bad tower is one of the more notourious team-wiping Core Infuser events. 4 possible sections, the bottom one is always there, no matter what, the other 2 on the tower are always a grab bag.
