it really nicely makes up for the lack of firerate , gives more breathing room bc i dont have enough dps to kill them before they get to me , but with fear they wont really always get to me and i can just keep shelling them away as their running whislt being slow down and taking DOT

Here are my Cryo Cannon and Flying Nightmare builds. The Cannon pretty much freezes everything instantly and can be fired indefinitely and the Flying Nightmare pretty much uninstalls everything smaller than a Glyphid Guard in a single pass. I also use the throwing axes in combination with the Cryo Cannon to take down bigger targets.

Sometimes the bulk will just ruin salvage missions and there's nothing you can do about it. Best case is to try to kill it asap even if it means leaving the zone, then getting back in as soon as you can afterwards
