quick tip is to keep in mind, the more you load into a salvo the more that each individual missile does damage
so when youre fighting a beefy boy you wanna essentially use it as a shotgun and get right up to their weakpoints and blast its ass

anything that increases fire rate also increases speed of salvo load

its fine if you dont do it, most dont do to it being difficult as most of the time you have to do it alone eaven while in multiplayer and it takes a while. eaven i do it rarely, just had a great opportunity to do it recently whit a good team that recogniced what i was doing and stayd behind to defend me. had the backbreaker stout so it was 20 faster than normal too. had to wait at the drop pod for like 30 seconds for the mule to reach it after us.

I don't know if your looking for a real answer on this, but I'll give you one anyway, speckled predator all the way. I say so because I have always felt that black crag has clashed with the overall color coordination in this game. When I see a gunner or driller using black crag it throws me off, and like an idiot start asking for a platform or some such. That is to say it is very confusing because you should be able to see a dwarf and green and say, ah yeah, a gunner. So yeah use speckled predator and save black crag for your engineer.
