I kinda just rely on grapple as a crutch, so really the main issue for the dread with me was making sure I didn't get randomly OHKO'd by some trijaw I didn't see while fighting

I literally made mini bunkers for the uplink & fuel, so that mactera had to come close, letting me just kill them all with bouncy DRAK, cryo nades were also a huge life safer

fortunately they didn't die during the defense but both times I had to come safe them after they tried to get back out of the bunkers

Bunkering can be a good idea. But it often just causes a pileup outside the bunker that is a problem when you go to leave it

Haz 5 (stage 2 edd is close enough) mactera plague salvage - textbook reason to bunker, but they didn't do so well leaving the bunker even if they succeeded inside, since the mactera liked to hover around the walls of it outside and then figured out terrain after the team left

While executioner will do a lot of damage to one target, it's not meant to clear swarms, unlike Explosive Chemical Rounds, which deals explosive AoE damage

Basically => executioner for bursting down single targets, ECR for swarm clear

A lot happened in this mission. The swarm spawn rate seemed a bit on the high end. Saw the largest, weirdest bunker I'd ever seen. Multiple bulks, endless swarmers, exploders, grunts, mactera,etc. I might have 0 downs but it was hard fought, it's been 10 minutes and I'm still recovering. Even saw a roller flying through the sky and get nailed by an incoming supply pod.
